Not much. More of a face up 4 that can be a small ball 5 as well. Has a solid mid-range jumper, good athleticism and bounce, runs well, and can handle the ball very well for his size. Not a finished product, but was already very productive in AAU ball while playing up — he’s a strong low post scorer and good rebounder today.
With Furst on board, if Purdue gets Christie and Ingram, that will be Purdue's best class ever.

I used to follow it a lot more but it was too easy to get wrapped up in the decisions of 16 and 17 year olds (I have enough of that shit with my daughters).
But once they commit, I do like to check out the highlights to see what kind of player Purdue is getting. This guy looks more skilled and athletic than I had assumed.
As a first team All American?I like Furst but he isn’t as good as Swangan and that ended up the usual Painter special

It was a satire post. He may be able to move out a little bit like last year I told you TJD was a 5 and he plays all his minutes in the post. I can count on one hand the shots he’s taken outside the paint.
That Kansas loss was bad. I realize IU fans probably have forgotten how the tournament is formatted by now but as it turns out other good teams make it to the sweet 16 and have the capability of getting hot.

Not every time. Depends on the recruit. The consensus is that we lost guys like Gary Harris and Xavier Tillman fair and square. The questionable one has always been Branden Dawson. Can't think of another one we questioned besides him.
"McRoberts=Cline" or "I'd take McRoberts over Cline all day every day" would qualify as bigger fails.
I’m sure Izzo decided to cheat to get Dawson but not the others. Makes a ton of sense and doesn’t wreak of butthurt or anything.

There are always bad takes but the McRoberts/Cline one was bad. At least Ronnie was a legit 4* guy. McRoberts was a walk-on who couldn't shoot lol.
I'm glad Newman is redshirting. I'd be pretty bummed if he had minimal impact like Franklin did this year and I love the thought of him as a 5th year guy.

I think plenty of non-Purdue fans probably thought Wheeler could be an impact guy this year lol. Don't think many people thought he'd completely regress like he has.
There's plenty of disappointment to go around our two fan bases for individual player progression this season.
