***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

In all seriousness, now that it seems like the rest of the league has figured out how to defend Iowa (let Garza get his points while not helping) they may run into a rough patch to finish out the regular season. Basically, we’re about to see his patented 2 and 7 stretch to end a season.

It wasn't you guys that figure out the puzzle. It was Nebraska and Hoiberg.

Just looked at their schedule and you’re probably right

If CJ is ok. We will be fine. We will win all our home games. That is 20 and where I figured we would be when league play started.

I would be more nervous if I was IU and Wisky.

No one has an easy schedule left

Don’t for a second think that I’m at all confident about IU!

If he is out. We won't win another game
Any injury is of course bad, but it’s even harder to see when it happens on a simple movement like what happened tonight to him. It looked like he just planted his foot like he’s done a million times before. Has he had any feet problems in the past?

Yeah. Earlier this year. He didn't play at Nebby and we lost. I think it was an ankle injury.

And yes, the fact that there was no contact is not good.

Man we could really use him. He made the wrong decision given our injuries.

Certainly easy for us to say but the fact he played so many games I just do not understand not finishing the season. Especially with a player of Garza’s caliber. He wouldn’t have had to do nearly as much

Exactly.

God I hate this league. We just need to get into the tourney and get some different teams to play.

This league is fvcking brutal. We do well OOC but the Big 10 just grinds on us

I hope CJ is able to heal up quick and can help Iowa in the tournament. Being an Illinois fan, I know what you guys are going through right now.

@hawkit3113 keep in mind that we thought Ayo completely shredded his knee a couple of days ago and he didn’t. So maybe he can play again this year still. These kids are young and in shape. That matters.

True. Just saw the presser on the BTN and to quote Fran "It's not good. Not good".

If that is the case and we even make the tourney, we aren't going anywhere. 1 and done.

Have you heard anything on Frederick? I’m not a doctor, but to me, it looked like a broken foot.? Hopefully it ends up not being anything major!

It happened 10 feet in front of me and he immediately grabbed his ankle. Don't think you need to worry about a broken foot and that would be good news.

Achilles? When the trainers were over there, one of the fans on the floor seats started pointing at his girls Achilles.

You haven’t had jblow in awhile. Why even mention him?
Well when you think about it, Iowa is down Cook, Moss, Nunge, Bohannon and Frederick now.... Those five are all talented enough to all have been starters for Iowa. I'm actually amazed Iowa is where they are. All due to Garza, kid is amazing and Im going to try to enjoy watching his time here although the season wont turn out the way we'd like.

Cook and Moss? JTFC, gtfo with this Gil level of shitposting.

Unwanted early departures... We have Garza and McCaffery back from last year. I think they are doing quite well. This team would be dangerous if Bohannon played and had Cook or Moss have stayed.

I saw plenty of “we’ll be better without them” comments.

One guy says he talked to his Dad and it's a high ankle sprain. Rob Howe is more optimistic and thinking he can make it back. By the BTT at the earliest.

Damn. We will be lucky to win 1 more game this season.

I hope our resume is strong enough to get into the NCAA
