***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

Nice. It looked real bad. The next two games are tough, but you guys should win out after that.
At OSU will be tough. If no CJ, that Iowa/Illinois game won’t be the war that I was hoping for. I hope he makes it back before then healthy and ready to play. And of course I hope we beat the snot out of you guys...

I absolutely hate injuries. Speaking only as a fan, but it just saps all of the energy from a program like Illinois/Iowa. Neither program is at a point where they can just say “next man up” and get away with it.

I know. And usually we have an issue of what guys to play. Fran use to try up to a 9 or 10 man rotation.

I would have never guessed we would be struck that bad with the injury bug at the beginning of the year.

And yeah, the IL and Iowa game has lost some major juice.

The Illini will fvcking kill us. You were going to with a healthy Fredrick anyways. Lol. You guys owe us.

The tourney can't get here fast enough.

And OSU and PU are the games we have to get. I don't like our chance. Going to need some home cooking.

IU making a valiant comeback, but too little too late.
Yep, they've gone from putrid to just terrible after the most recent three game stretch.

Of course, it wouldn't surprise me to see Purdue put up a couple of 4-26 performances at OSU and Wisky and fall back in line with the Hoosiers.

I would argue terrible is being 14-11. But to each their own.

Conference only:

Purdue 33.7
Indiana 32.6

Slightly off topic, but not really since we are back to IU-PU. Listened to Titus and Tate's podcast and they had Titus' dad on and it was amazing. He is an IU version of Gil.
His rant about Purdue B1G titles before 1940 and banners being the only thing that matters was tailor-made for this thread.

They mentioned multiple times that Titus’ mom is a Purdue grad. His dad said she knows better than to talk shit. Titus said something like yeah or he breaks out the old school power point with all of IU’s accomplishments.

She actually played the game and he didn’t haha. His dad sounds like a dbag.

He was our next man up, took Moss's role after his transfer.

Former MSU point guard, Keith Appling, is back in the news AGAIN for possession of heroin.....

IIRC Izzo visited Appling in jail two years ago right before the story with him and Payne resurfaced.

I guess that pep talk didn't work out well...

He would be #1 if he reclassified to 2021 too. I’ve heard he’s the best player in the state since Magic.

Hopefully MSU is ready to play and win today. Everyone all hyped up, new football coach, Game Day, top recruits... Don't blow this.

Edit: and retro jerseys to celebrate 20th anniversary of the 2000 national title
