***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

I love how everyone shoots the 3 with the utmost confidence against Iowa. Zero fear to shoot any kind of 3, contested or otherwise, and they just assume it will go in because they're playing Iowa.

F***ing horsesh**.

These teams go as far as to absolutely REFUSE to shoot like that against any other team they play, and it has nothing to do with the defense they're facing. Teams can't shoot this well against f***ing Nebraska and Northwestern.

Again......f***ing horsesh**.
Almost like you don't play defense

Thats what pissing me off about commentators...Not knowing the rules.

Game aside, it's a bad rule. Then play under control.
If its consider a continuation of an attempt to block a shot---no issue. If its considered an action other than that, i.e. intentionally smacking the board, with no attempt to block the shot---its GT.

You make it a goaltend for hitting the board , while attempting to block a shot, it'll be impossible to do so. There would be 35 GT's a game.

It's a game of finesse to me. It's not football. Control. If you can't pull back from slapping the board, IMO, it should be a goal tend. You are altering a shot by hitting the back board or rim.

Guys can just act like it's all continuation all the time.
