Huge game vs Purdue tomorrow at Noon, at least for OSU to FINALLY get back to .500 in B1G. Just hoping Purdue does not go 104 on us.

You're playing us correctly - close out at the 3 point line and rebound. There isn't another team in the B1G that defends as poorly as Iowa so don't worry about that 104 lol

they are doing better that you others want to admit. the one redeeming quality is that with each year they keep getting better.

Wieskamp is to inconsinstant this season one game he can score 20+ points and have 10 rebounds the next 12 points and 4 rebounds. it will be fun to see the jump he makes from his SO season to his JR season.

Garza made a huge jump from his SO season to his JR season now it will be interesting to see how he improves from this season to next.

Connor made a nice improvement from his FR to his SO season

Fredrick was having a very good fr season now it will be interesting to see how much he improves from his FR to SO season

Toussaint is slowly adjusting to BT play and is still strugging, how he progreesses from his FR season to SO season will be interesting, he is already leading the team in steals and is the most Athletic PG that Fran has landed since JUCO Cartwight.

all 5 of these return and these will join them.

Fredrick the teams leader in shooting in both FG and 3 point shooting plus he is one of the best shooters in the BT that Iowa is now W/O.

the incoming FR are the best collection of Athletic and defensive minded group that has been brought in, far far better than the 2012 class that recorded defenses from #24 to #77 with these in between #34 and #30.

when it comes to playing defense its all about having healthy players which Fran does not have this season.

Fran will have to rely on walk on's from now till the end of the season. again show me another team in the country that has to do that and maintain the level of defense in BT PLAY, otherwise STFU.

Our offense is so sad. When we get the bad Purdue offense like we have in a majority of games this year, I don’t know if I’ve seen a Purdue team that’s so passive and gets absolutely nothing going downhill. It’s so easy to defend.

This seems like a game where we should just scrap playing Boudreaux and Wheeler at all.

Wheeler is so bad this year

It’s been extremely disappointing. I was never one that expected him to become some elite scorer, but thought for sure he’d be a nice volume shooter.

I will say this just based on the overall look of the team. Purdue needs to up its strength program.

Guys like Thompson, Hunter, and Haarms simply don’t have the frames to gain much weight. Haarms has put on like 25 lbs since he’s been here too. Not really the strength program’s problems, just a limitation on some of our guys imo.

Dakich really pumped up Wheeler the second half of the season last year. He was sold Wheeler was an NBA player. Wasn’t just Purdue fans who thought he was gonna be a breakout player this year.
