True but also difference between UC-Davis and Texas Tech.Difference between still winning games by double digits and getting smoked by double digits.
The UM bro trolling may want to slow down. UM is 6-0 and hasn’t played anyone. Lots of other programs have had a game or two against good competition.
True, unlike Sparty who has played one good team (Kansas) and was down 8-17 points for three quarters of the game.
14 point win...I sympathize with IU’s injuries, I really do. I just find it hard to give IU a pass when they struggle to beat a 1-6 UC-Davis team at home when they are without Green (averaged 7 ppg on 36% shooting last season), Mcroberts (averaged 2.8 ppg last season on 43% shooting, but I get it he’s a glue guy), Race Thompson (has played 4 career minutes and was an unranked 3 star out of high school-just don’t know anything about him.) Jerome Hunter (I’m sure he’d be a hell of a bench player for you guys this season and would essentially be playing Damezi Anderson’s role of 17 mpg.)
But hey Painter doesn’t get a pass for having an injured Hummel/Haas in the sweet 16 for 3 different seasons but I’m sure we’ll all give you one for 4 role players in a home matchup against one of the worst teams in D-1.
Lol. Those are some tough standards for a good team.
Can’t wait to see UM go up against UNC.
What bench? What part of IU having 4 guys out is so hard for you to understand? Green is out...McRoberts is out...Hunter out...Thompson is out. And Davis has been limited. Even if IU were up 60, starters are still gonna have to play more than usual. There's no one to put in.Saying that you guys shouldn't need Morgan to play 40 of 40 minutes to beat a 1-5 UC-Davis team isn't trolling. It's discussing basketball and something that I think we should all be able to agree on. These are games where it's nice for the starters to get a good lead so the bench can get some run later in the game.
Every team will have struggles like this. Green and McRoberts are bigger pieces to this team than you think. McRoberts is one of the better defenders in the conference. He just does so many little things for IU. His shot has improved. But make no mistake, its not his scoring...or his rebounding...or his defense. Its well, ALL of that. He doesn't do any of that great---just really good. Except maybe his defense. He's a very good defender. Green, who can be erratic, is valuable. Plays 26 mpg. Was averaging around 10ppg. He can create for others. Very good defender. Those are two very important parts. W/O those, Miller is forced to play a guy like Anderson, a ton of minutes that he shouldn't be playing.I sympathize with IU’s injuries, I really do. Yeah, this. IU ended the game on like a 30-5 run. Last year, we might have lost this game. Folks can get their "ummmm's, and uh-oh's" in. I'm fine with that. Because when this team gets healthy, they're going to be a headache.Difference between still winning games by double digits and getting smoked by double digits.
For you IU and Purdue football fans...hopefully today is a great game and IU sends Brohm to Louisville with his head down

Gotta be honest...Not sure what this means? Bottom line---IU played like shit, yet stil won by double-digits. It was ugly. But I'll take it. This team beat a decent Marquette, w/o the services of Green, McBob and Hunter. Crushed them. But difference is, those injuries are becoming prolonged, forcing guys to play more minutes. That starts to take its toll.True but also difference between UC-Davis and Texas Tech.
I'm merely following the standards you set in your post....
That is great. Langford is as grounded as a kid, that I've ever met.
I’ve started drinking, just want to watch the football game now so I’ll continue my trolling of IU basketball at a later time.Gotta be honest...Not sure what this means? Such a great moment. I get it---Purdue/Indiana. But man, this young man situation really puts sports in its place. I want to win. Make no mistake. But this shows there are much more important things in life.Awesome to see that. Thanks for posting.
Ya might wanna get it in, now. Hoosiers not only gonna beat that ass---But they're gonna run your coach of as well.I’ve started drinking, just want to watch the football game now so I’ll continue my trolling of IU basketball at a later time.
This. It was clear to me this team was just flat. Seemed gassed a bit. Then they got behind and realized they had to play through it if they wanted to win. It happens, but the injuries are definitely taking it’s toll on the team.Gotta be honest...Not sure what this means? Bottom line---IU played like shit, yet stil won by double-digits. It was ugly. I just don't think some realize that the longer these guys are out, the more lingering effect it starts to have. Versus Marquette, not really a huge deal...But now we are 4 games later. Kids having to play more and more minutes; starters to be exact. That startst to take its toll.This. It was clear to me this team was just flat. Seemed gassed a bit. If Romeo is still playing 38 mpg in Feb, something has went terribly, terribly wrong. You think its taking a toll now, wait until February and Romeo has been averaging 38 mpg.
Wow. I never thought I’d see the dayMSU looks really good
Basketball state. Two meh football teams. Its raining--and cool. About what I expect, TBH. Also, to be fair, what the other side look like?
Easily the best game he’s played as a spartan. His shot selection has been better this year, albeit still not great.Joshua Langford scored 29 on 16 shot attempts. Hes heard my critcisms loud and clear and quit the 2 pt jumpers.
Not at all.
Who has played a tougher schedule thus far than MSU? MSU is 5-1? Pretty damn good.
Yes, I am.
Msu has played one good team based on your definition of Michigan not having played any good teams.
NCSOS rank so far:Yes, I am.

Is this a joke? MSU has played Kansas, UCLA, and Texas all neutral sight. UM played at Nova, who’s not looked very good this year.
I agree. I’d say UCLA and Nova are near the same level. UM and MSU could have beaten both teams by 40 but they both slowed down after they got big leads.Although to be fair I would put Nova at UCLA's level, with a chance to move-up depending how they looks vs FSU tomorrow.
