*Official* B1G In-Season Thread

The reason it’s like this is because of the awful line managment. IU has two lines per gate open. Lines backed up a ton. And also Memorial Stadium has FIVE urnials per bathroom. Jesus ****ing Christ I waited 20 minutes to take a piss. Brutal.

Read multiple posts on our board about game day experience that has been less than flattering

Would be embarrassing if we had some powerhouse football program. We don’t. It’s a shitty day as well. The crowd filled in better at the start of the game. It’s funny to see Purdue guys (like the one who posted this on Twitter) trying to make a big deal about it. Lol.

Saying that you guys shouldn't need Morgan to play 40 of 40 minutes to beat a 1-5 UC-Davis team isn't trolling. It's discussing basketball and something that I think we should all be able to agree on. These are games where it's nice for the starters to get a good lead so the bench can get some run later in the game.
1st. I'm down for discussing the details of a basketball game, but thata really not what you're trying to do right now. Its obvious that with the rotation used for last night's game that IU wouldn't have a shot at the top half of the big this year. But yet, you're acting like you didn't know that I thought this after reading my post. Even though, if I remember correctly, my post specifically said that once they get their players back....AT THAT MOMENT THEY WILL BE GOID ENOUGH TO COMPETE JUST LIKE MICHIGAN FOR THE BIG CHAMPIONSHIP. But, the only way to complete a successful troll is if you completely disregard that thought process.

2nd. I've already explained what I thought happened tonight....they thought they won before the game even started. It happens all the time...even to great teams that don't have injury issues. Its really not a big deal unless it continues further into the season. If it does continue then I'll have to reassess my thoughts on this years potential.

3rd. If Michigan has a bad game against a weak opponent...will that mean that Michigan isn't capable of competing for a BIG championship?

4th. Let's assume that at halftime they were up by 25 points and were in the process of completely blowing them away....which 5 would you put in to replace the starting 5?

PG. Technically it would be Durham, but since he is nicked up from the other night that's not really an option. So, they wouldn't have any PG to bring in who are on scholarship. So, that means Phinisee would have to stay in and hes already playing over 35 minutes a game.

SG. Romeo is only scholarship player who isn't hurt right now. So, he would need to stay in, but hes also over 35 minutes per game.

SF Anderson could come off the bench. So, this is the first position that could have been subbed by a scholarship player.

PF/C. Moore is the only scholarship player on the bench who could come in as a sub. You would have Fitzner and Smith who would have to rotate being a sub here and both are playing more min then ever thought because of injury. So, this isn't ideal here either.

So, there are 2 players on the bench who could come in to give the regular rotation guys a break....that's it. But, you already knew this, but it's a better troll if you ignore this part.

And how many minutes did those scholarship players get against 1-5 UC Davis?

I didn’t read the rest of your post btw. You’re getting too emotional. Relax.

If that’s not what it looked like later in the first quarter then who gives a shit?
i have no clue how it changed, was only commenting on the photo ive seen. also hilarious that there was a buy one get one free deal. don't know why you guys are getting so defensive, iu fan support at football games is always awful

IU football support is awful, so why do you think it is hilarious to do a buy one get one?

Gotta be honest...Not sure what this means? Bottom line---IU played like shit, yet stil won by double-digits. It was ugly. But I'll take it. This team beat a decent Marquette, w/o the services of Green, McBob and Hunter. Crushed them. But difference is, those injuries are becoming prolonged, forcing guys to play more minutes. That starts to take its toll.
It's also allowing coaches plenty of game tape now on how to stop a player playing out of position, or being relied on more then his talent warrants. If the schedule was reversed and we were playing Marquette last night instead of when we did...I have no doubt IU would have lost against them. But, since we played them early in this stretch...there wasn't any film on these players yet. So, they couldn't gameplan based off of actual film. I think this is hands down the biggest issue IU is facing right now.

it's so bad that you have to resort to that. never heard of another program doing that. it's funny

The goal is to get more butts in the seats.

It’s like a salesman bitching about less commission when operations offers a deal. You weren’t going to get the sale without the deal so take the commission you can get.

And Purdue has this once locked up...the IU offense is just dreadful hopefully Debord is gone

Jesus christ I was trying to defend the garbage excuse that your injuries are why you looked like ass yesterday, while giving you glimpse into the future if the nagging injuries kept occuring but if you going to be a ****** then fvck it. It was a hypothetical, I never mentioned yesterdays game. I was stating that if games like that, that should have been easily decisive where you could rest your starters, kept occuring then you could see Romeo with 38 mpg in February.
Yeah, I think Bordon is just a little on edge here over havi6to repeat this 50 times. I read your post like you described and thought that's what you were meaning.

that's embarrassing, wow
Honestly, it's only embarrassing if you still cared. The administration doesn't care if they put a winning product on the field, so why should the fans?

Although, that's probably a little harsh, it's not like they did something crazy and hire a high school football coach to lead the team.

Yeah, so this is how IU football has always been. How is that embarrassing? It is what it is. Yet here you and other Purdue fans are, acting like it’s something more than it is.

We are such a poorly ocahed football team. DeBord is awful. 2nd and 25----we throw east/west; a screen that nets 6 yards. Great, great call. Then it gets better. 3rd and 17, we run a QB draw...Laughing For a QB who's shadow is faster than he is. JFC....

It’s garbage play calling but Ramsey is solid on the ground.

Green and McRoberts are bigger pieces to this team than you think
When Green is hurt, he's a huge missing piece. When he plays, you want his ass on the bench or to transfer. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Green(1-6) continues to think he can shoot: He cannot

Green is just to erratic, and doesn't value the ball. Three of his 6 attempts tonight were just awful, deep three's.

Next one that throws a no look pass out of bounds should have to run laps around Rupp for 10 minutes.

Green has done that about 2-3 times..

green took about 4-5 three's tonight that were just bad shots, that had very little chance of going in.

I would love for Green to get less than. 10 min/gm. Just terrible.

Very possible when Durham , McRoberts and Hunter get 100%.

Green has been the leader of this. He's just one bad shot after another

Note: I hope Green transfers. Like, tomorrow

Thank god Allen has abandoned the run so much today despite the fact they're dominating up front. Difference in the game.

Fixed that for you.

He needs to be gone and a defensive coordinator needs to be hired.

Ok Cool
Hook em

Seriously though we haven’t even gotten into B1G play yet. Are you going to survive?

Is that always your go to move here? It seems like anytime someone says something back at you your next post is something similar to this.

Don't worry, I'll leave you alone for the rest of the day. I don't want to see you get worked up again.

So does Brohm wait till after Purdue's bowl game to announce he is going to Louisville, or does he do it sometime next week?

Absolutely not...if that deal does happen he is gone next week. With the early signing period schools looking for coaches have to get it done quick
