We only had to give 1 scholarship to a zero star. Got us a 4 star though. I'd say that's a net positive.
Edit: I guess Jordan Davis is a 3 star on rivals. Sorry Hawk. Our zero star is a walk on. Has Fran gotten an extension yet? Keep that man at Iowa forever. Just like Capt. Kirk.
He also has more wins as an underdog at Illinois in the last 72 hours than Harbaugh has in his entire Michigan career.

At least we won't have to sift through star rankings from 15 sites for this years Iowa class. We will, however, be inundated with meaningless high school stats of players ranked well below 300. Should be a great follow this fall.
Iowa now sitting at 4 commits in the 2020 with an average star ranking of 0.75 according to Rivals.
Even Maryland football thinks that's bad
since they have not been rated yet not surprised. Perkins is a 3* by 247. lets wait till spring to see how it shakes out.

They literally have one guy that does the grading. He can't possibly rate all of the players accurately. ESPN is notoriously bad.
We were hearing a lot of good thinks about him. Observers think he would have been a McDonalds All American had he gone to HS in the US.
He'll be back for Battle of Atlantis and we don't play anybody until then anyways. We'll be fine
