they can have their private msg board all they want but there should be a limit on what should be kept top secret, all their msg boards are pay to read only, could care less about their msg board, but when it come to info on recruits with offers or are being recruited that should be not be kept top secret. Hawkeye Nation got so far in debt because of that 247 stepped in and bought the site, now it has gone full pay on everything,
talk about not getting the msg. people can only pay so much, they get money from the advertisors that buy space,
its like going into a store and you get ads then you go to that store and then they charge just to go in and look at the goods they want to sell, would you PAY to go into that store?
not many would and the store will either change policy or go out of business.
after all they are in the busoness of making money so why not start charging people to go in.

Patrick was not just a scorer in HS that is pure BS, according to his AAU Coach of the Minnesota DI he can play the 1-2-3-4 and the 5 in a small lineup.
when their PG got hurt Patrick was their starting PG and the coach said Patrick was just as happy getting the assist vs scoring.
here could be Iowa's starting lineup by ESPN as 247 is worthless
4* PG 6'0 Toussaint just outside their top 100 grade 81
4* SG 6'5 Connor top 100
4* SF 6'6 Wieskamp top 100
4* PF 6'11 Garza top 100
3* C 7'0 Nunge
off the bench
4* Patrick top 100 that makes 4 top 100 4*'s and 1 4* outside the top 100, yet its the same old shit again they will finish in the bottom half.

Jordan was a 4* just outside the top 100 but the best he got was a 2* by the great 247, all he's done is make them look like total morons with their rating of Iowa players

Really happy to see Carsen Edwards get a payday and a chance in the NBA. Also gonna miss seeing him at Purdue.

this season Iowa will surprise everybody by finishing in the top 6. GT Evelyn was the key that Fran needed. he can play the 1 or 2, add the 3 point shooting and is a better defender than Jordan.
he led his team in made 3's as a SO and JR shooting 42% as a SO and 38% as a JR, Jordan shot 42% as a shot as a SO and 38% as a JR.
Wieskamp will more than likely lead the team in scoring. my projected scorers
Wieskamp 15-16 ppg 3 point 42.4%
Garza 13-14 ppg 33%+ from 3
Nunge 11-12 ppg 33%+ from 3
Evelyn 10-11 ppg 38%+ from 3
Connor 7-8 ppg 33%+ from 3
Fredrick 7-8 ppg 40+% from 3
Kriener 5-6 33%+ from 3
Pemsl 5-6 ppg non 3 point shooter
Toussaint 4-5 ppg but he might lead the team in steals and assists 35% from 3
wild card Patrick could take minutes away from Pemsl because of injury problems as he seems to be injury prone 40+% from 3
team 77-84 ppg
they avg'd 78.3 ppg in 2018-19 with 4 dbl digit scorers
they avg'd 79.7 ppg in 17-18 with 4 dbl digit scorers
they avg'd 80 ppg in 16-17 Jok avg'd 19.9 ppg and 2 other dbl digit scorers not worried about the scoring.
The fact that finishing in the top 6 in conference is a “surprise” is so pathetically sad.

not when most are expecting them to finish 12th or worse. finishing 6th without Jordan will surprise most, the loss of Cook or Moss didn't stop the 1st preseason bracket's from being a 3 seed, it was when Jordan had hip surgery and this season was doubtful that he would play, that they dropped off the map,
Lunardi has them as a 6 seed but in the preseason polls they are no where to be found, so yes a 6th place or better will be a surprise.
I’m sure there are plenty of other Iowa fans unhappy with the writers. I just don’t think there is anyone else on earth that writes posts that are exactly the same in structure/content/syntax /tone as the above.

I honestly thought Furst would be better down low. He is playing a year up but I get why Kaufman has passed him by. Kaufman is just a more complete player with higher upside currently
