Nitewing Iowa game comments:
The refs are biased against Iowa
Iowa has (insert star number) players and recruits
Iowa player has name your injury or illness
Other team player is having the game of his life despite great defense
Something vaguely or outright racist
Something something Dr. Tom

Did I cover it all?

Cook has been mugged all night. and nothing has been called. guess that was the game plan for Cook have 3 players hack/mug him all night knowing the refs were going to swallow their whistles.

Crispin is on a tear in sounding like a moron.

Get a bunch of old Hall of Famers to watch some games and figure out the field by the eye test.

Yeah, only about 5000+ games to figure things out

Spot on......

yeah but Garza is just a FR. Bohannon and Cook are only SO's. what you are expecting them to play like JR's or SR's?
What was you expecting? Your the one who said this team would win 12 Big 10 games. But now that Iowa has LOST 12 Bug 10 games, you wanna play the youth card?

Worst poster ever. I mean not even close.

I would rather Nebraska did not receive a NCAA bid.

What did the Huskers do to help the Big Ten in the non con? Nothing. Lost all games of note. Beat an ACC deadbeat in The Challenge.

Why should we care about a team that didn't help raise the other boats?

Thought about next year's Big Ten for two seconds and here are my predictions:

1. Michigan
2. Maryland
3. Nebraska
4. Michigan State
5. Penn State
6. Purdue
7. Indiana
8. Ohio State
9. Iowa
10. Wisconsin
11. Illinois
12. Minnesota
13. Rutgers
14. Northwestern

I think 1-8 are tourney teams

We won’t finish 10th two years in a row and we damn sure won’t finish behind Iowa. Terrible two second take.

IU will finish better than that this year. I’d expect a top 4-5 finish

Nebraska will likely fall a little. They have played an absolute cupcake schedule.

Also Maryland hinges on everybody coming back and of course staying healthy.

no longer have a sarcasm meter as it has been shattered.
From now on if my post is sarcasm it will have this after it

I like Maryland a lot. Cusp top 10 if nobody leaves and Jackson is good.

Michigan State at about 15 assuming Bridges/Jackson gone.

Michigan at about 20 if no Mo. Michigan cusp top 10 with Mo.

Nebraska top 25.

I see a lot of other bubble teams.

you have to remember when Gesell and Woodbury came in during their FR and SO season they went 9-9 both seasons then has JR and SR they went 12-6 and won a pair of 1st rnd, and they were the only 4* players on that team for 4 years,
this again is a very young team loaded with 4* players

tonights leading scorer
FR TOP 100 4* Garza 22 points 6 rebounds and 1 block
SO Cook 10 points 8 rebounds and 1 block
SO Moss 12 points 3 rebounds 2 assists and 2 steals
SO Bohannon 7 points 4 rebounds and 5 assists
these will be the group that Wieskamp will join and a healthy top 100 4* PG Connor will be that key backup at PG,

Always liked Robbie Hummel the player, enjoying him as an analyst as well. He's got a future.

Edit to add Crispin is a complete idiot.

IU will be much better than 7th. I like though how IU loses just Newkirk, McSwain and Johnson. Purdue loses Haas, Thompson, Vince, and Mathias. Yet you have them above IU?

Indiana returns: Green, Davis, Morgan, McRoberts, Durham and Smith. In other words, 6 of their top 9. Bring in a very good class with Hunter, Anderson, Thompson and Phinisee. Possibly Langford. Purdue returns Cline and Carsen Edwards.

Ok.

Without Langford, I see no worse than Top 4. With him? I think they win the conference.

IU Returns 4 starters Purdue loses 4 starters IU finishes higher not a doubt in my mind

Morgan is very good. Green is way, way too inconsistent. Davis coming off injury. McRoberts, Durham? Really? Smith, OK, good player and will probably take another step. OK, I will put Indiana ahead of Purdue if it makes you happy. Haarms will take a big, big step next year. I expect his offense to really transform this summer. Eastern is a great defender already, and we bring in a solid class. We are a bubble team. But we have arguably the best player in the conference in Carsen Edwards. If he wasn't back, yes, we would blow.

1. 4* recruits
2. Injuries
3. Bad officiating
4. Bias against Iowa
5. Fran is setting records at Iowa with his results
6. Fran
Correction even using just Rival Fran will have
1 4 4* players
2 hoping for no more injuries,
3 = 4
5 Fran is moving up on the list of all time wins by a Iowa coach
6 Fran has passed both Lute and Dr. Tom for the longest stretch of winning seasons by a 6-5 stretch by the #1 and #2 career marks for most wins and passed Alford last season in BT Wins
Lute, Alford and Davis team all played 18 BT games per season.

Could not have started worse. Might be a long night. Little energy. Lazy passes. Getting killed on the boards.

Seesh.

I will wait to see who leaves early and or transfer out to seek more playing time elsewhere on every team before I will even think about who will or won't be good.

have you not seen Green of late? Seems to finally be buying into Miller. Indiana returns four starters. Purdue loses four. Our class is better. And arguably is the best word to say Carsen is/will be the best player(in the conference). Juwan may have something to say about that.

Durham is just a freshman. Has had moments were you can see the potential. McRoberts is a great utility guy. And just happens to lead the Big 10 in steals. Green has just gotten better and better. Smith is going to be really good.

I'll take IU over Purdue next year ALL DAY long.
