Purdue looked as good as they have all season.
Baited Miles Bridges into taking someof the dumbest possible shots he could take and instead of making 40% of them he ran hot on them and made a bunch of contested long 2s.
As long as Purdue continues to Haas it up or take 3s, its going to be hard for anyone to beat them on a neutral court where bigs fouling Haas gets called.

Not surprised and I know Hammer and Rails are the red headed step child but hey wrote like three “columns” on the Ohio State loss. To the majority grow sack take the loss and move on

What was wrong with that shot? Not terrible at all. He had space. Just a good player making a good play at the end of a big game.
Changed my tune to be more pissed at Goins tying it up on his shot instead of Bridges.
What is this about Miles taking junk shots. He was taking long 2’s, which aren’t a very efficient shot but hey were clean and went in. CLUTCH
Kenny Goins hit a mid range jumper that was lightly contested, this isn’t shocking.
Those "dumb" shots won MSU the game. Most of them over Mathias. He hits them quite frequently .

This is what I've said about MSU all along: getting them to take those shots is a win b/c of all their weapons, but it doesn't guarantee you anything b/c they have talented shooters.
Again, that's a win for purdue but hats off for making it.

Yeah I mean, tied game, and they end up taking that shot. If you make then you just tip your cap. I’d rather have that than a missed box out & put back.

Definitely. That’s the shot I’m assuming you guys are fine giving up. Bridges just drained it. As you said, tip the cap on a good shot and great game and move on to the next one.
As far as I’m concerned he has a lot of potential facing up and hit shots. He also can hit the three. But he won’t be a difference maker this year imo as he is a terrible defender and rebounder. He also can’t score that well yet on the post
