Sanders is completely gassed. Credit Green and helpside D for making it difficult but he looks tired.

That fadeaway that Sanders missed as the clock was winding down was a shot he hit several times against Purdue lol.

Take back all the nice things I said about Pikiell. His team runs the John Groce offense. Unforgiveable.

Corey Sanders Saturday against Purdue: 13-27 for 31 points

Corey Sanders tonight: 0-7, 3 points

Lol

As a freshman, I thought this kid was headed for stardom. He does have that type of talent. Tonight just hasn't been his night. And in all fairness, Green has done a very nice job on him.

He's the antithesis of the new wave of efficiency-focused basketball. Shoots a really high rate of contested deep twos and has a poor field goal percentage at every level. And as such is a victim to wide swings in production from night to night.

Agreed. So many shots he hit against us (and Baker too) I just shook my head. Because he’s missing those same shots tonight. I don’t think our defense was bad the other day.

Looks like Vince Edwards breathed on all of Rutgers' players. You're welcome IU.

Freddie McSwain might be one of the best rebounders in the Big 10. Dude just seems to get every rebound. Or have a hand on it. If he could just finish, dude would be a double/double machine.

Newkirk comes in and continues to make horrible decisions in the last 2 minutes of the game even with a 20 point lead.

So I am not going to bitch about the schedule too much and I know this was a one time thing...but it’s ridiculous to me that IU has four of these one day off games and Purdue has one and MSU only has two.

I am sure IU wasn’t the only B1G team to have four of these but just a terrible job by the B1G to even those out. IU had to travel either home or to an away game for everyone. All of this for a BTT venue that will be empty

Mentally he is shot. You can see it. Its to the point where I feel sorry for him.

The scheduling is terrible. All so they can play the BTT @ MSG; WHihch IMO will be maybe, 3/4 full. Maybe.

I will tell ya--------When Miller gets his guys for his offense, Indiana is going to be very, very hard to beat. Defensively, they just get better and better. Defense hasn't been an issue for a while. Our offense has just been awful.

Anyone want to guess spread for Purdue/Ohio State? I'm gonna go with 6.5.

It could be higher. Maybe 7.5 or 8. OSU has been overlooked all year because they are a surprise. People tend to forget they handled MSU by 16 and came from 20 down to beat MICH by 9. But, Purdue is a legit final 4 type team so I get that nobody expects the Wednesday night battle for 1st place to be much of a game.

Not me. OSU has some bodies to bang with Purdue; Wesson especially. Elite player in Diop. The absence of WIlliams will hurt. But OSU still has plenty of options. I expect a really good game.

Plus OSU will be looking ahead to Iowa.
