*Official* 2017-2018 B1G In-Season Thread

IU looks like a team that played an intense rivalry game two days ago. No energy on defense.

Game feels like its about to get very, very ugly.

Was Durham supposed to have a jumpshot? Don’t remember his scouting report. Seems like that is the most important thing for him in the offseason.

Freddie just watches as he hits the three

Edit: Freddie’s last four plays

Freddie with an ill advised fifteen footer...doesn’t hustle back to guard the three...turns the ball over...three point play given up

He should go out for tight end next year. Dude would be nasty.

Archie does a weird thing with his hair. He kind of twists it with his finger and then slicks it to the side.

Huge difference playing at home compared to the road, especially for rebuilding teams. I think if you have a top tier experienced team, you are able to close that gap, but Archie is a probably 2 years away.

Just went and looked at Kaleb Sullinger Wessons numbers and he is extremely efficient on high usage.

Hes going to be a pain in the ass for the rest of the B1G for a while.

He kinda looks like a paedophile and simultaneously has a baby face. It's a bizarre combination.

One more tough game before some more winnable games. Nice to get three days to prepare before another 1 day inbetween next Monday

I'll tell you what Indiana fans and Purdue fans have in common both parties are cry babies. When you go to either site the Purdue board the Indiana Board if you don't write what they want you to you get kicked. Cry babies I tell you cry babies! Can't go to either site and express the truth neither can handle the truth
Can someone ban this dude already

Lighten up Francis. We don't need to hear your little baby whining here. Move to a legalized marijuana state, get a box of tissues, clean yourself up, buy an ounce, and relax. All that pent up aggression is going give you a stroke.

Indiana thanks there still a blue blood Purdue things they got a national championship coach. 13 years and hasn't been past the sweet 16 and it's been 30 years since Indiana's won a national title take out the lucky run in 2002 and they haven't done anything since 87 neither has Purdue

Indiana is still a blue blood, you dont loss that status. And it was not a lucky run, they were the 6th best team based on Kenpom.

Nate Mason with 2-13 shooting, including
0-6 from three, and three assists in 35 mins. Remember when he was talking shit to Collin Sexton to start the year? Now he's getting delittled by J Bo who had 20 and 10 with 4 three's in 38 mins.

Feel bad for Murphy and Spencer Tollackson.

The similarities between Josh Newkirk this season and Ronnie Johnson during his Purdue stint and then RoJos IU career and Terone Johnsons career are kinda creepy.

Newkirk looks the part but just all around sucks, lacks any semblence of basketball IQ, makes boneheaded turnovers in crucial spots, and cant shoot - so basically Ronnie Johnsons entire career at Purdue.

RoJo was great early in his IU career when he wasnt counted on to be the man and was surrounded by good players but just isnt up to snuff when counted on to be the man as a senior amd is wildly inconsistent both defensively and shooting the ball - sounds somewhat similar to Terones Purdue career.

And then you have Juwan Morgan who is being saddled by their ineptness but is still good anyways (kinda similar to AJ Hammons).

Not perfect comparisons by any means but best I could think of

Cook should be getting 20 shots a game. He's a load. Very underrated.
Earlier on in the year Cook was being was to aggressive, getting called for a lot of fouls. For a while there he was being hesitant offensively because he was being called for some many offensive charges. Now that he has his game under control he can be a load all game long.
