*Official* 2017-2018 B1G In-Season Thread

last night Nebraska is the only team to shoot that many FT's vs Iowa, in fact Iowa has been shooting more FT's than their opponents, on avg.

Just proof of all of the home cooking Iowa gets every game
Since I lost my entire bank account yesterday, we can only go up from here:

My bet today, brosapiens:

Isaac Haas over 13.5 points

I like Vince over 6.5 rebounds much more

FACT IOWA is the 2nd youngest team in the BT only Wisconsin is younger and they are not exactly dominating either
FACT IOWA is the 16th youngest team out of 351 DI teams
FACT NONE of these players are 1 n Done players,
FACT you and these others are trashing this VERY YOUNG team for not being 22-0 and ranked #1 in DI BB.
FACT you need to shove this attitude up your ARSE. and STFU

wow, I had no idea that Iowa had young players. thanks! They just are not very good, nor will they ever be a top B1G team with these players. Posters are not trashing Iowa for being young, but are trying to make you understand that this Iowa team plays horrendous defense. You continue to be in denial regarding this. Iowa is by far, not even close, the worst defensive team in the B1G. I do not see this dramatically improving as these players mature down the road, as these Iowa players just are not talented enough, nor committed enough to play good defense. Obviously, Fran doesn't care about
good D. HE HAS NO CLUE.

Believe me, noone on this board expected Iowa to be 22-0. Noone on this board expected Iowa to have a winning record in the B1G, except you. Then, you continue berate posters who point this out.

The boos get really loud there. I really wish we played you guys at home this year. Mackey would be deafening.

The purdue howl is real. No fanbase whines at more at home, and always feels victimized, then pu fans at Mackey. It's hilarious.

Eventually Haas gonna get caught with that push off. Done it twice now.

Purdue bigs struggling to guard out of the post. Thought they might. Felt Miller would try and oput them in that situation.

Some time prior to the Michigan game, Haas and HAARMS just forgot how to defend the PnR. Michigan and now Indiana early has gone to that over and over.

Like our approach. Not settling for jumpers. Haas is gonna get his. But I think that is what Miller has decided to give up; Make Haas beat us. Don't give up the three.

Good start.

Nobody on either team has more than 1 foul so Im actually very pleased with the officiating.

Remember, Swanigan and Bryant fouled out on the same exact play last year iirc. This type of low foul let-em-play game is more aesthetically pleasing imo.

One thing I enjoy about this Purdue team is that theyre so incredibly talented on the offensive end that opposing coaches just concede that Purdue is going to score and just picks either doubling Haas or trying to take away the shooters.

So it basically becomes can we outscore Purdue? So long as Purdue gets its defense figured out and quits giving up these layups on PnR coverage, they are extremely hard to best over 40 mins.
