***NCAA Tournament Day 4 Thread***

I think we're about 2 minutes from seen Fran go on a tirade .

That guy should never be allowed to possess a weapon. He fits the profile of a guy that could go on a rampage at any moment.

I never watch Iowa and I could be wrong but Fran looks like a complete asshole!

Yeah, this might be the least exciting tournament in a long time. It's a lot more chalk than I thought we would see.

Tells me that the selection committee did a good job with seeding and placements.
jeff i look at it a little different
it tells me that the selection committee overvalued some major conference teams that really has shown very little throughout the season to deserve to be in the NCAAT

they should have given more at-large bids to some mid-majors
i think the NCAAT would have been better with more upsets

I tell you what, UT needs to play smarter going forward. I would be chewing clock.

Im listening to the Westwood One broadcast on radio at work. The announcers have already 3 times alluded to refs rewarding Williams 3 times for flops. Last one "Fran McCaffrey has a legitimate complaint with the refs there."

It's the first half. o_O

Yes, but if we were half way decent, we could have creeped back in. They were leaving the door open by taking fast shots.

Going forward it provably wont be an issue. The games should be closer.

Changing your pace and game plan that early in the game will get you beat.

They have Iowa on the ropes, stalling at this point would he incredibly stupid.

Those UT players know they are the better team and are just wearing Iowa out.

Not the reason Iowa is losing, but there were a couple bad flops, and the “block” on the big white guy was actually a complete hammer to the weist.

Eh, they just called a foul on Tennessee because they allowed the little white dude to just push a UT player. Iowa has been pretty physical on defense this half and they have called 4 fouls on UT and 1 on them.

Hit the shower so missed early part of second half. Like I said, refs aren’t the reason why Iowa is losing. I was responding to the post that was talking directly and only about Williams.

Williams flops for sure. Just feel this half they have let them get back in the game by being chippy and physical on defense.

Not only does Williams flop but he whines too much as well. Wish he would just play and shut up.

The color guy has continued to be fairly critical of the officials. Makes me wonder how atrocious it looks on TV

Iowa is fouling a lot on their end and they aren't calling much of it. The replays make it look even worse.

Like that last foul on Iowa. They have done that the entire second half. Every possession. Why wait 12 minutes in to call it?

Sounds about right. So the refs are letting them play, and suddenly Tennessee is rendered impotent on offense? From 25 pt deficit to 5 without flop rewards?

I would say they are doing a little more than letting them play. It isn't difficult for a college player to stop their man when they can just ride them all the way to the goal.

That is bad news for UT with Schofield going out. Iowa has it all working for them now.

Better defense for UT there. Looked like Iowa has looked.

Just some awful turnovers for UT this half.

Rick Barnes is B12 through and through. And I somehow picked him to have a team make the final four because I am a moron.
