KP will get it turned around, I’m sure of that. He just needs some time. I’ll root for him wherever he coaches. Also really like Danny Manning!

I didn’t know he had, but watching this kid has got some handles. U of L is right in this at the half.
What is it about KP that you think is promising? We have no definite style, he just lets them play. Calipari gets away with it somewhat because he has 8 five stars.
Damn i was pulling for you guys. Thats a heartbreaker. But maybe this will be the start of the turnaround for you guys. The players seemed to be playing with a lot of energy. You can tell everybody (players, coaches, fans) wanted this one bad. Kenny has to get you guys playing with that intensity in every game.

But in their defense, UofL has been through more shit the last 8 years than any program I can think of (IU just sucks), so it's not crazy for fans to be impatient.
KP hasn’t shown anything good up to this point. Louisville has suffered enough and that’s too good a job for a first time coach IMO, but I really like KP, he’s a hell of a guy, so I hope he proves his detractors wrong.

Pitino and Mack won games. Mack was competitive and talked a little smack, that appeals to people. Winning games can put a nice white dress on a huge turd.
It’s when you don't win that will turn people into hateful fans and Louisville fans have dealt with losing long enough.
Hopefully he turns it around, yesterday's performance looked promising.

Kenny Payne is now 6-31, we are better but that’s because of the talent is better except for the coaching. J Williams was questioning what exactly our team’s plan is. KP seems like a great guy, he’s just not a head coach and he needs help from his assistants which doesn’t seem to be happening.
I'm shocked that he admitted to "being tricked" by a zone, and even more shocked nobody on that bench had a clue how to attack it.
He makes comments that makes you pause, you can think that but you don't say it like that. "We had trouble adjusting to the zone", not "he tricked us with his fancy zone defense"

Louisville actually looks not so bad at all, time for them to trust the process and give Kenny Payne a 5 years extension.
I watched the UofL IU game and UofL did look competent. No idea how they've looked their other games. I'll take KP back on our bench if y'all don't want him.
To some extent, Kenny Payne’s UL was so bad last season that it can only get better afterwards, he will be safe until next season.
At least Louisville didn't lose to a team that had just 4 players on the court at the end of the game. Gritty win!

One of the Louisville fans I work with was pulling against Louisville in that one. He’s afraid Kenny is going to do just well enough to buy himself another season.
