Lexington AAU vs America’s team

Kenpom is saying that their records would flip if their schedules flipped. Florida's losses are to 6, 16, 24, 29. The best team Buffalo has played is 30 and they lost that game. AP rankings are based on resume, Kenpom is looking more for how good a team actually is.

Buffalo is still good. They pass the eye test. It took a guy to drop 40 and 25 straight for Marquette to pull away at home. I’d never seen anything like it. It was 67-65 with 9 mins left. Then the guy literally could not miss. 40 in a half? Jeez.

Who have they beat?

You already made a prediction in this thread earlier. Why make another one? Just so you could throw in an ignorant, incorrect, and regurgitated childish pot shot at your dominant bigger, better, and more prestigious big brother.

What an amateur.

Have a Big 12 and an ACC win, both on the road. The NET loves those. #20 in NET, was #11 before the loss.

I asked who they beat and you cite a Big 12 team that has lost to Buffalo, Florida, Western Kentucky, and Rhode Island?

NET is very flawed at this point and hopefully adjusts as the season goes on. Kenpom has Buffalo at 31, Sagarin has them at 34.

Buffalo has only played one team in the Kenpom top 30 and it was a loss. They’ve had a pretty easy schedule.

That was quite a run to the USL Cup for LC this season. I'm a Cincinnati fan though, so it sucked. Looking forward to them making their MLS debut though.

Cincy is killing it in attendance. Will work well there. Louisville won’t get a major pro sports team as long as I’m alive.

For UK vs UL, love the way UK is playing. Much more confident than a week ago. Kentucky has a better team. But Louisville is at home and will be more fired up. Solid team.

Lol cayut fans sunshine pumping tf outta this team now RollLaughRollLaughRollLaugh I love it.
You have to admit though that UK has appeared to have flipped a switch.
Although, I'll caution everyone, sometimes playing a team like UNC, that runs wide open all game no matter what, can be fools gold.
When you run like that, you can look better than what you actually are.
Getting back into a half court slugfest, where an opposing player is going off, can bring you right back down to reality.
But I saw enough in the last two games to tell me that this UK team is starting to round into shape and I feel somewhat confident in their ability to win at UL on Saturday.
2 weeks ago, UK couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time.

I mean I guess, you guys look decent. I never thought UK looked really good or really bad. Just a pretty good/decent tourney team. The outrage after the Seton Hall game was a bit ridiculous from some in your fan base. I don’t think you guys win Saturday though.

I do love how no one is giving us a chance now. Good, I’d rather give most that faux satisfaction. We have a solid team, and the three losses we have are IU on the road by 1, Tennessee by 10 which doesn’t reflect most of how that game was played. (Tennessee is also top 3 imo) and Marquette in OT which should have been a win ( oh well). We beat Michigan State and Seton Hall, we have the ability to beat UK. We will see how that translates to the court. This game is always tense and played in a anxious manner, but Chris Mack isn’t Pitino, so we will see what happens. Those who are claiming that we’re not talented or won’t be able to hang with Kentucky after their first win against a team with a pulse, obviously hasn’t watched us play this year.

Go Cards.

Man I wish I could watch this game....I need to pay more attention when scheduling my games. I have a damn 2pm tip that day as well........

Mack said he hoped his players were embarrassed by last year's loss. I hope they're mildly embarrassed after this year's loss. I'ld say lay the wood to them, but I like Mack.

Mack also said he was going to make Louisville a player's first program. Sound familiar? I wonder where he got that from?

If getting players paid and picking up the tab for their sex isn't player's first then I don't know what is.

You have to look at the reason why UK fans were in a frenzy though.
Lost by a gazillion to duke, a program that quite a few on RR is obsessed with, struggle against a bunch of mid majors, then lost to an okay Seton Hall team.
Well, that's not all that awful, until you factor in what UK was thought to be prior to that Duke game.
This team is way behind.
So I disagree with you on your thoughts (which are your opinions) on what UK has looked like. I think they actually look like a ranked team right now, but prior to the Utah game, they looked like some seriously hot garbage and there is no reason for that. This team played summer ball, has talent and has more experience than Cal usually has on a team.
Guess we'll have to see how this thing plays out on Saturday. I was going to place my money on UL, but the timing is pretty bad if you're hoping to get a UL win.
If the game happened 2 weeks ago, UL wins easily, but UK has turned a corner, has more talent, better guards and better bigs. I don't see how UL wins this one, but that's why they play the games. Good luck.

Good luck, I know you guys have improved, but we haven't stayed stagnant at all. We're improving each and every game. King is our only 5 star player aside from Williams who was 27th on Rivals right outside 5 star, and King hasn't shown a bit of his potential. Cunningham was out last game, and we started Perry at the point, when in reality he's a 2 guard. CC will be back for the cats game, and his passing and decision making are the difference. Add that with Nwora's offense, Williams and Fore's defense, and Suttons grit, we will have ourselves a game. The talent isn't lacking, which I'm not sure why some think Louisville is a bunch of 2 star players. We basically start all 4 to 5 star players who still have a higher ceiling to reach. I think the game will be close, and it will be decided on the glass, and who can convert the most point off turnovers. With that said, we will see what happens.

Last years loss was on no direction from a coaching standpoint. CM will be the difference. We play with a lot of heart, and we have the talent. Gonna be a good one.

Our guys have heart also... We have some talent also lol. CM will be the difference from you guys getting blown out. But the expected result will be the same. We have a much higher ceiling than you guys have. And we're trending upwards since they've worked on defense and Cal has settled into a rotation. If you guys don't have someone getting ridiculous from the 3, you have no chance.

It's really tough to predict this game. There are so many outliers and anomalies to consider. It could be a blowout either way, or it could come down to the final possession.
Both teams need the W in this one. I just sense UK has rounded the corner, hope Ihm right.
I haven't been right about this UK team yet this year though.

Your last statement is absolute bs. It doesn’t matter though, because we shoot the 3 ball pretty well. Looking forward to the Nwora/Johnson matchup. Btw, our ceiling hasn’t nearly been met. If VJ can get his head out of his ass, and Enoch can muscle up the post, we win pretty easily imo.
