Kentucky....

No, I’m saying they have 1 seed potential with a higher probability of a 3 seed. Kentucky fans have said Michigan has no chance at better than a 3 seed.

I’ve said that multiple times. You are too salty to comprehend apparently.
No, that's not what's happening at all. You're struggling with reading comprehension.
All I'm doing is telling you why I would have said Michigan had no shot… .. back in August.
But as you know, that's why they play the games.
Ask me that question today and I would certainly say that UofM would be in the running for a 1 seed if the selection committee were seeding the tournament tomorrow.

So you're taking comments that were said in August and acting like I said them today?
Knowing what I know now… ..hell yeah Michigan can be a 1 seed.
Back in August after they lost to Bemax, my OPINION was that they had little chance just because cbb is up this year and it looked like Michigan was going to need some time to figure things out.

“Knowing what I know now..... hell yeah Michigan can be a 1 seed.”

That’s all I’m saying, man. Back then I was saying Michigan returned very pieces and with some development they could be just as good as the Final Four team. The year might not end up as good but it’s easy to see that then team has a similar level of talent for anyone that watched both.

And I’m trying to point how unfairly dismissive UK fans of the possibility that Michigan could be much better than what they showed in Europe.

All I'm doing is giving a reason for why I said what I said (allegedly) back in August.
But again, it's December 1st. Eventually the cream will rise to the top. UofM could be some of that cream.

As long as you are aware that it was unfair to cap their potential back then over a euro exhibition game played with 22 foot 3pt lines, okay.

Unfair? This is a message board man.

If the opinions of UK fans (or any fan for that matter) makes you think that, then you are taking this message board thing wayyyyy too seriously.

Lets just leave it at: UK fans may have simply been wrong about Michigan.

I was wrong about Kentucky, too. So fair enough I guess.

Nope but it’s enjoying seeing how silly they look on some things that were said.
It's December 1st Hail. You're acting like the brackets came out today and Michigan was a 1 seed.
Again, pump the brakes or you could look just as silly.

Wrong about not them not even having top potential. I think we agree that Michigan has that potential now.

We can move on.

I would like to appoligize for what this thread became. I didn't see a Kentucky game thread going and they were in a really good game with UNC-Greensboro so I thought I would start one. Didn't realize I had started a turf battle between Kentucky and Louisville/Michigan. I will go back to posting in Kansas threads again.

Shocked that a UK fan is actually telling a fan of another team to pump the brakes. UK fans invented lofty expectations.

Hell I enjoyed your thread.

Hail has a bee in his bonnet about Kentucky. The UL guys just hate Kentucky because UL forced the series between UK and UL and UK has beaten the shit out of them. Both like to keep pulling the scabs off any sore they see.

I thought it was a good thread.
Any thread that has the word "Kentucky" in the title is going to go this way, usually much louder, but it always goes down this path.
Problem is there are too many non-UK fans that like to take pot shots at UK.
Hail and I had a good discussion, disagreed on some things, but still ended up patting each other on the back in the end.
Unfortunately there are some fans from other programs that do nothing but ruin every UK thread with their hate agenda.
Heck, a lot of us UK fans have been very complimentary of Chris Mack and UL basketball, but we don't get it in return. Just take a look at their agenda driven comments in this thread.

I’d rather avoid Michigan this year if possible.
Not only are they good, but they play an offense that isn't often seen and is very difficult to defend.

Beilein can coach, he's very underrated. He also recruits to his style exceptionally well.

There are a a bunch of top 25 teams that are not disciplined enough to deal with UofM's offense.

Every year we see a team that was not supposed to be very good, but they come out of nowhere and put a stick in everyone's spokes. That team is Michigan this year.
