I'm not pumping anything. You said they aren't very good and based on their performance last season and thus far this season, that simply isn't true.
So I’ve been out of commission all day due to eye surgery. But there is a four page thread about UK and we covered the spread today??

How loosely do you define “very good”? How many “very good” teams are there? UNCG was the 82nd ranked Kenpom team last year and 67th this year. Can we agree that they are average to below average for a P5 school but good compared to other mid/low majors?
When you start calling the 67th best team in the country good you’re going to piss off a lot of UK fans that don’t consider anything but the top 5-10 teams good (if that).
Dude i watched them play today, and they looked below average. Sorry your feelings seem a little hurt from my opinion.
Dude come on. I get it, they're a mid major, but this isn't 1985 and that is not your average mid major. That team was really good. If you couldn't tell by watching, then I can't help you.
They ran good stuff and their defense was very well designed and executed.
Alanso is a legit pro, you can't deny that. Whenever you're facing a guy like that you better buckle your chin strap.
I don't understand why they sat Alanso so much though. That guy should have played every minute.
That team would give anyone fits, especially this early in the season.
Alonso was a decent player that had a good game, but that team isn’t anything special. Their shooting was atrocious compared to better mid majors. That’s saying a lot against your guys D.

Since you’re posting here I don’t feel out of line bringing it up to you, but do you see why I was saying Michigan has a 1 seed ceiling this year? I would’ve projected a 4 seed but I said 1 seed ceiling 6 seed floor and had about 20 of you tell me how impossible that would be.
Is Self not paying enough? He told the shoe company he wanted some good players.
The D is pretty substandard right now, but it's on the upswing.
All of us UK fans are a bit stunned at what we're seeing right now. This team was not supposed to look this bad. They have a loooong way to go. But it's a long season and they took a stride forward today.

That’s all I’ve been saying, the potential is there. It’s early, and I think you guys will get it together. You and a few other guys have been objective from the get go, but some guys just like our own have been a bit delusional with their rhetoric and expectations. I expect a really good game when UL plays UK.
The final 3 pages are people telling me how Michigan would have zero chance vs Kentucky, zero chance at a 1 seed, how much the city of Detroit sucks, etc. etc.
I think it's going to be a much better game than what we...I thought, at the beginning of the year.
I brought up in another thread, some/I thought the football game would favor UL and the basketball would favor UK, but it's seems to be flipped around.

See the Vermont game when they played them last year with practically the same squad, they won by 4 at Rupp. Before we played them this year they kept it close with Kansas, and then we were crushing them and they brought it within 8 and we won. After the game, many Kentucky fans said Vermont wasn’t a very good team...
They also said Marquette was garbage when we lost in OT by 3 with those atrocious calls down the stretch. Well, they just beat 12th ranked Kansas St, who happened to knock a certain somebody out of the sweet 16 which could have been the easiest path to the final 4 ever..
