Kansas - Kansas State Fight

Where did I say I CONDONE it? I’m not his fvcking dad. I think me saying suspend him the rest of the year is the exact opposite of condoning it.

You said
Don’t have a problem with anything he did except picking up a stool and putting it down.

So clearly you condone him throwing punches.

Interesting....

But Self said the opposing Wildcats had no obligation to quit playing, and faulted his Jayhawks for being angry that Kansas State competed until the final horn.

"Silvio knew he was being defended,” Self said. “He took his ball, and certainly the way Silvio reacted to getting his ball taken, going and blocking his shot, that’s fair game. What transpired after that is what set everything off.”

i believe this is the exact point I've made 10 times in this thread. Laughing

On account of the screen name I’d say he’s more into ass play. Because every logical, non homo, self respecting male wouldn’t intentionally use dingleberry as their handle unless they like to play in the dirt.
Why don’t you and hawkdick go suck off each other somewhere else

Now we’re back to the “he defended himself”, which is hard to argue when he picked up a freaking chair like it’s Monday night RAW. I was waiting for Vince McMahon to come strolling out.
He did defend himself. Picking up the stool was idiotic. Absolutely no reason to do that.
It’s not like the kid blocked the shot then just started swinging on everyone. He got rushed by the whole KSU bench, got pushed over by like 3 dudes then punches started flying. Do I have an issue with him at the point? Not personally but it’s a fight so people have to be punished.

Do you think the KState kid had a right to jump up and start swinging?

“He put the chair down” RollLaughRollLaugh

The coach grabbed the chair from him

After sleeping on it I don’t think de Sosa should be out all year. We need him on that Kansas bench for them to implode from the inside

Go find a better clip of him just putting the chair stool down.
I’ve seen multiple. There’s a few out there from the left of the basket. You can clearly see the coach reach for the stool but he never even makes contact and then he just drops it.
You posted the generic over head view from 100 ft away. I’ll agree from that 5 second clip it kind of looks like he gets ahold of the stool.
I could see why someone would think that if you haven’t watched any of the other videos.

Cool. Post the video.

It's amazing how fans and rival fans view things like this.

UK, Duke, UNC, Auburn (they’re a blue blood right) etc…fans all view things that happen within their program differently than non fans do.

But this, this is bad. You just can't defend the chair issue here and trying to say that the KSU guy started it because he stole the ball and tried to score is just wrong. That was a basketball play.

But standing over a dude like DeSousa did is something you just don't do. That is the biggest unwritten rule in sports, especially basketball. Don't stand over a dude like that.

From then on, it was all downhill. The DeSousa stand over is what started the whole brawl.

The chair/stool thing took it to another level and is definitely grounds for a permanent suspension.

Here comes the fallback line of obsession.

A little context helps. We’re talking about Kentucky fans here. Y’know, the ones who cry “obsession” after every little jab that comes their way.

So stealing the ball with under 10 seconds as he’s letting the clock run out up 20+ and trying to score isn’t an unwritten Busch league move? Of course it is. Looking down at a guy after a block gets you a T. Happens In games all the time. The ksu bench bum rushing and knocking him over is what led to punches being thrown

What about the dudes that left the bench on both teams? What is their punishment?

Every single player that left the bench to join in should get a game suspension. Those fighting, depending on severity, several games suspended. De Sousa should be suspended the rest of the season for picking up the stool with intent to injure someone with it. That's inexcusable.
