For me personally, the season is over and I'm just looking forward to next year.
I still believe we are going to drop. Too many other factors in play for that to have been the bottom. It can't all be "built in" to the price already when companies haven't even announced losses yet. No reason the market should've risen like it did when they announced 3.2m unemployed (when they expected 1.5m). I think we're gonna to see a lot of up and down over the next few months.
This week we'll get more unemployment / layoff numbers, home sales numbers, automotive sales numbers (huge drop, plus production shut down until mid-April), commercial real estate is gonna get hammered (300 Cheesecake Factorys, 2400 Mattress Firms, hundreds of Subways have already said that they are not paying rent until further notice), small businesses and restaurants are gonna tank with no revenue, consumer confidence, etc.
Let me know when you feel it is the time to look at getting back in the market.
I mean, I wish I would've gotten in on Monday just to sell on Friday at a profit. I think next week should be in the red based on all of these numbers that will be coming out, but then again it doesn't seem like reality and the stock market are aligned so who knows.
I am still goin to buy in on dips, but I do think we are still going to hit lower lows than we've already seen.
