Is the Summit the biggest news this offseason?

Btw, to be SUPER clear... on that last game last night, I went for the steal, got it, and then just tried to lay it up. Suddenly my guy started running downcourt with the ball. Like, legit glitch or something... like, I was standing there trying to lay it up. I was alone. White was behind me. It was a gimme layup. After a few steps I panicked as I was hitting the shoot stick and tried to let go and shoot again... like, you know how you have to do it sometimes when you get the ball and you were trying to shoot before you got it and for some reason your guy just freezes, but then if you stop trying to shoot and then shoot again, it shoots? And then it shot the ball from like the free throw line. Obviously I would never have taken that shot on purpose. And **** me, how frustrating that was. We won that game. Not sure if the controller survived... I haven’t gone back to check on it. I don’t think it did.
Dang man, hopefully you can use it again. Controllers are crazy expensive

XB1. We have a group of guys we play with every other night or so. They’re all pretty cool, and definitely play 2K the right way. If you’ve ever played online in the game before, you know it’s frustrating playing with people who never pass the ball.
If you don't mind, what's your username?

I’m generally not the fiercest fighter (I’d say that would be Dat?)... I’m generally not the lowest IQ or informed poster... I generally don’t troll or try to be a dick more than most... so how did I end up being the only one who got ignored over Dat or Q or Brook or UL or any number of posters?
I think he ignores me, too, and I don't think I'm the fiercest fighter, either... you troll.

I think it's weird to tell someone you have* them on ignore. They wear that like a badge of honor.

(*have: present tense)

Bert has the self control of a three year old having a temper tantrum.
YESSSSSSS! Except that recent research shows tantrums are signs that toddlers are beginning to deescalate. Unless that could mean "about to die," I don't think that quite applies here.

Oh Jesus. Is lurker about to join us on 2k?

I swear, if you are some kid, you are getting blocked, like, immediately. And you better not have a win loss ratio under one to one.

;)

Yeah they are expensive. I normally don’t get that pissed off. But holy shit, I cannot remember being so pissed off. Dude, we WON that game. After being down by a lot, and all that shit talk, and I won it on a goddamn steal, and a glitch stole that game. **** me, 2k.

Thank god I don’t get angry at actual, important things:)

Haha maybe he will. I could tell you were pissed, immediately turned off your game Laughing if it makes you feel better I quit after that, too.

Recently got a One X. I don't have 2k....yet. I've played a lot of 2k, just not on xbox one. Mostly on PC with xbox sticks.

You aren't making sense here.
When our President was criticized here for his bigger button childishness, what was your input? Did you agree, or did you troll liberals?
Because if it was the latter, as I suspect, identifying it as a bad thing now for the purpose of complimenting our President on the most recent developments is just hypocritical.

Just got to point out... I don’t know if someone gets credit for being an absolute idiot and then not being as much an idiot. That’s like saying “Well, that guy raped a girl, but it’s better than some guy raping and then killing a girl (which is what that guy did before.)”

A bit disturbed to see the whole “No more military exercises” and it turning out our allies and even most of our military seems to have not known about this. I suppose Trump can just go back on his word if need be.
Big mistake. The U.S. may save millions by not participating in these useless exercises.

You still aren't making sense. You have a history of that.

Sure. By not having joint exercises in preparation for a conflict in a place in the world where we 25,000 American troops who would be put in danger by just such a conflict, we are saving millions. I mean, it might even be, like, 100 million dollars, which would be about .0016% of our $600,000,000,000 2018 military budget! Yay! I mean, it might endanger American troops if such a conflict happens, but whatever.

I think you are dumb. I might just ignore you, to save myself the reminder that there are some real dumb ****ers out there.

Is "America first" worth it if it's actually just "America only"?
I think we have plenty of support from our allies. You have been watching too much CNN. Fake news. The media was originally concerned that Trump had called out Little Rocket Man and we were going to have a nuclear war. Then Trump established the harshest sanctions on North Korea ever and does something no other President has been able to do by brokering a deal for NK to get rid of Nuclear weapons. The media attacks Trump by brokering a deal and being too nice to NK. It is so funny that most people are getting turned off by how stupid the democrats and the media are acting. Most people, excluding you, do not trust the media and this is backfiring with the average american voter. This will hurt the democrats in years to come.

I would consider it a form of flattery if you ignore me.

I agree. To what extent, I am not sure. I guess it depends on when and where we consider the playing field to be level.

Which is why this is more complex than Trump makes it sound. Tariffs have to be evaluated one-by-one, which is partly why I didn't want to engage earlier yesterday about whether or not the US is being taken advantage of by its allies. Trade deficit can be a starting point, but that's it. After that, you have to go one-by-one in evaluating the tariffs for each good in each country. The EU simplifies this a little bit because European tariffs are usually the same for all members but it's still a monster undertaking. I'm not saying it can't be done or isn't being done, but I don't think the average citizen has enough info at their fingertips right now to say whether or not our allies are truly taking advantage of us in trade, unless they've done some serious legwork.

Say there's a country that our corn farmers really really wish they could sell their corn to but there's a high tariff right now that would make that an unprofitable business decision. Just have that tariff removed and things are good for those farmers, right? Yeah, but what about the other US businesses that have relied on their corn at a certain price point that only the US farmers could meet? Maybe they can't exert as much price pressure on the corn farmers anymore and/or maybe the farmers can make more money shipping corn out of the States due to the corn demand in the place they're shipping to. Kellogg's might have to pay more for corn and would almost certainly pass that cost on to consumers. The end result is farmers are happier but everyone's cereal now costs $.50 more. That, alone, won't break anybody's bank, but think of all of the products that rely on corn.

Deal, you moron!

Jesus christ. Says he doesn't want a military exercise that involves American troops in a conflict American troops WOULD be caught in the middle of because A) he wants to save millions and B) America first. So... money first, and American soldier lives don't matter, or something like that.

You are dumb.

That is a compliment coming from you. A typical response from a liberal when someone disagrees with them. Trump is dumb because he puts America first. Great economy, lowest unemployment in decades, lowest unemployment for blacks and Hispanics ever. He sure is dumb and I am dumb for recognizing these facts.

I haven't watched any CNN, but since you mention it, ABC, CBS, NBC, Reuters, BBC, The Hill, WSJ, Al-Jazeera, and even breitbart and Fox News all join CNN in reporting surprise or/and concern about our President's concession to NK ending military exercises. Most of them also note that while promising, the deal has not been realized yet. Our President himself said, "I mean, I may stand before you in six months and say, 'Hey, I was wrong.' I don't know that I'll ever admit that, but I'll find some kind of an excuse."

Is the "cautious" part of "cautious optimism" really just a bunch of anti-Trump propaganda?

I am not sure if I criticized him on the internet enough to meet your standards of criticizing Trump. I am actually sure I haven't, because your standards are ridiculous on that matter. But I certainly acknowledge that a lot of Trump's comments towards Un were childish and elementary. I did laugh at some, but whatever. Not criticizing someone on the internet does not mean that you agree with them btw.

You love patting yourself on the back for not approving of our President's personal behavior (while representing the US to the entire world), but in the moment, you do nothing but troll.

Move on Datt. Not everyone has to live up to your standards. I am not patting myself on the back at all. In fact, there is one particular poster ITT today that has broke his arm patting himself on the back. Why don't you go after him....

Is there some test somewhere to see if I'm liberal or conservative? If someone really doesn't give a shit, where would they fall? TIA
