the Hawks are a team to worry about top 7 leading scorers freshmen or sophomores. Top 40 recruit coming next year in Weiscamp and Top 40 recruit in 2019 P. MCaffery

Jesus, did he get banned again?
nope still here, but he is right, still waiting on 4* FR CG Connor to recover from Mono, oh and right now Patrick is rated #30 by ESPN and Rivals and it looks like Fran will have 2 other scholarships to hand out in 2019, with top 100 4* PG Carton being one of the 2 that will join the team.

lets take it to 2020 where top 25 player F Foster will be part of a 5 man class at least.

Just because this account is still here doesn't mean that it's another account that you created. The future MIGHT be bright because we have recruited well the past 2 years. The thing that killed us was the recruiting classes of 2014 and 2015. You can't win consistently, missing on 2 straight recruiting classes. That's probably part of the set back this year. But until I see them playing on the court and winning, I will have my doubts. Is that fair?

Don't Iowa fans say this every year? Are they the team that poke dudes in the eye?
right now Iowa players are being knocked with head injuries.
before the season the lineup was looking like this by ESPN ratings with their BT 6th MOY
PG 4* BT FR team Bohannon playing with a injury
CG 4* TOP 100 Connor out with MONO
WG 4* Moss
PF 4* #38 Over all Cook
C 4* TOP 100 Garza who is playing with a injury
6th MOY Baer missed the 1st 7 games because of a broken Finger
starter at the beginning of the season Wagner is battling a head injury.
that is quite hit this team has taken.

Iowa needs to replace those plowhorses inside. Iowa defense is literally horrendous. IU is not a good team this year, and buttblasted the Hawkeyes tonight.

Buttblasted, I'll admit I laughed. Well done, sir. Although our season thus far has been anything but funny unless you're saying it's so bad that it's laughable

IU was allowed to play gorilla ball last night not BB and the refs played a very big role as Iowa who went into the game avg'ing 31 FTA SHOT 6 FT in the 1st half and only 3 in the 2nd half.
Cook only played 14 minutes because foul trouble just 2 days after scoring a double double on against PSU yet in that 14 minutes he put these up for numbers 9 points, 3-7 from 2 and 1-1 from 3 0-0 from the FTL 5 rebounds and 1 steal, against PSU he was 9-13 from the FTL and played 34 minutes. yeah right
Baer picked up 2 fouls in 45 SECONDS to start the 2nd half and he too played just 14 minute with these for stats.
3 points 3 rebounds and 3 blocks IU played out of their minds with a lot of help from the refs allowing them to play as physical as they wanted.

Foster is a Iowa kid and lives less than a hour away from Carver. but thanks.
He won't have an established relationship with the staff that will be recruiting him to Iowa in 2019.

is that all you do is stalk me. Fran is going no where, Foster is a regular at Practice [Saterday Shirts n Skins ] before the home FB games,

You post everywhere in this forum. His uncle posts on our board. I know everything that needs to be known about foster.

You might want to take up Cook's playing time with Fran, as he only had 3 fouls. Consistently taking jump shots instead of going inside and dribble drive by the guards will result in fewer free throws. Iowa is a mess, and the players are either pu$$ies, or not very talented. Maybe both. If not, you need to fire Fran tomorrow, as the Hawkeyes suck.

He had 3 fouls last night and only played 14 minutes. 14? That's inexcusable. HE. IS. OUR. BEST. PLAYER. He needs to be on the court a majority of the time. At least let him play until he picks up his 4th or he doesn't pick it up and he keeps playing

yeah as they have 5 players injured, with these
as starters
Bohannon has been playing with a injury the last couple game
Wagner with a head injuries came off the bench and played 20 minutes after getting just 10 minutes vs PSU
Garza battling a head injury and only played 15 minutes
Kriener DNP because of a head injury sustained in the PSU game

Baer played just his 2nd game after missing the 1st 7 games because of a broken finger
Connor McCaffrey missed his 9th game because of Mono which put him into the hospital for a few days

that makes 3 starters and 3 key reserves, because of this Nunge got his 1st start.
you tell me how many coaches have had that many players hurt and if so just how many are having success,
the starting lineup was supposed to be this at the beginning of the season
PG SO Bohannon
SG RSSO Moss
SF RSJR Baer
PF SO Cook
C FR Garza
now its
PG Bohannon FR Connor McCaffrey ESPN Top 100 PG who has yet to play
SG Moss RSJR Ellingson
SF JR Wagner now FR Nunge
PF Cook backup SO Pemsl
C FR Garza backup SO Kriener
against Indiana SO Dailey who is the 10th man played 21 minutes because of all the injuries.
it will be interesting when these players all get healthy.
there is no chemistry because of all the injuries which is causing Fran to constantly changing his starting lineup and players coming off the bench.

Cauley-Stein was a Kansas kid, living about an hour from LfK; you're welcome.
the difference between Iowa and Kansas is there are few players of this caliber produced in the state and they are starting to stay home because of Fran rather than leaving. Foster is a regular fixture around the basketball facility. plus he is good friends with Patrick McCaffrey who is rated #30 by both Rivals and ESPN who has already committed in the 2019 class.
Wieskamp who has signed his LOI is #40 by Rivals in the 2018 class is from Iowa.

For Iowa..
Who, ranked, from the '17 class stayed home? Who, ranked, from the '17 class left?

Who, ranked, from the '17 class stayed home? Who, ranked, from the '17 class left?
Connor McCaffery stayed, 3 star by 247 Sports. Luka Garza was a 4 star and the top recruit for Iowa from Washington DC. Jack Nunge was the lowest recruit, but still a 3 star for Iowa from Indiana. McCaffery was the only player in the 2017 class that was ranked by 247 Sports

So, Junior stayed home .. the rest weren't from Iowa. Was Baby m'Caff the Mr. Iowa or whatever?

Connor a ESPN Top 100 was the highest rated and he stayed home as it was a down year in the state
2016 Bohannon was Mr. BB in Iowa as well as the Gatorade POY

Iowa produces 1 4* player per year it is no different in the 2018 class but the 2019 class has 2 top 100 4* players in SF Patrick McCaffrey and PG Carton
2020 Foster is the only highly rated player in state, as of now he is in the top 25,

NO that went to a kid from Gladbrook-Rienbeck and he went to UNI, almost forgot Top 100 4* PG Green who is going to UNI whose father works for UNI and lives within 15 minutes of the UNI Campus,

lets not Forget ISU from the B12, UNI and Drake from the MVC also recruit the state of Iowa,

I use 247 Sports, but yes, he was the top rated ESPN prospect that Iowa got

No, if anything it would have been his brother Patrick or Joe Wieskamp, but neither won it. Someone no name guy won it. He ended up going to a Division II school I believe

Connor McCaffrey missed his 9th game because of Mono which put him into the hospital for a few days

PG Bohannon FR Connor McCaffrey ESPN Top 100 PG who has yet to play

Patrick McCaffrey

do you always misspell McCaffery? Not about to look through all your posts, but you do know it's spelled the same way your head coach spells his last name, yes?

I lol'd when it was Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, but dude...
