TBH, being on this board. I do like to go to games, where no one knows me, and listen to people complain...Laughing. It can be entertaining.

I see what you're saying but I don't necessarily agree.

I think a lot of music fans from all generations would say that wave marked the time when mainstream rock basically died.

I'm not one of those nostalgic Gen X types who thinks that the 90s were the golden age of music, but they were some of the most interesting and creative years of mainstream rock. Then, suddenly, we're bombarded by a more corporate and diluted version of Pearl Jam every time we turn the radio on.

Taste is obviously subjective, but I don't think that many serious music fans think highly of those bands, and I'll never buy the record sales argument. Just like there's little correlation between the highest-grossing and best movies, same thing for music. The masses, for the most part, accept what's fed to them.

actually the 80's was the "golden age of music" :p

I used to record and watch Bret Michaels Rock of Love on VH1 back in 2007-2008.

a couple of years ago we were at the Belterra Casino in Indiana and he was performing
i have never seen so many older women in halter tops and short short skirts in my life

Drum machine and synth overuse aside, a ton of good stuff was recorded in the 80s. Although a lot of it definitely didn't make it to the top of the charts.

I don't know what it is, but I'm quickly losing interest in everything. this board, social media, music, movies, etc. I don't know how to explain it. I have interest,it's not .....i don't know what to say anymore.

I'm not sure it's fixable. There's gotta more. Even past money. Even after collecting money, what's there to do, look forward too?

This will pass. I'd say everyone is in your shoes. I know I am. Aside from the money I'm losing, it's the time I now have. All kinds of it...but nothing to do. The loss of sports, esp the NCAAT, has a huge impact. Esp for folks like us. Tough times. But in time, things will get better.

Nice!!! My son and I went yesterday. He caught a 13" crappie. We caught about 10. Lost a pretty good bass. All in all, a pretty good day.
