Welcome to the Big Ten / ACC Challenge the Elite 8 edition.

Virginia (ACC Regular Season Champs) versus
Purdue (Big Ten Regular Season Co-Champs)

Duke (ACC Tournament Champs) versus
MSU (Big 10 Tournament Champs and Regular season Co-Champs)

Coach Izzo is 1-11 agianst Coach K. A win over this Highly Popular Duke team would put a big smile on all our faces who has suffered through losing to Duke every year for almost an entire decade!

I have way more confidence in Purdue over Virginia than MSU over Duke. Either way both games will be must watch. Good luck to everyone this weekend!

It is complete hsoreshit that Kentucky gets a free ride into the final four while Michigan state has to play duke

Neither team has any shot against these ACC super powers. Congrats to the Cavs and Devils. Just too good.

Media and ACC T champs* Winking

I think Virginia will destroy Purdue, they aren’t a good perimeter defending team. Virginia is practically the best 3PT shooting team. Carson Edwards can be great but he’s a volume scorer with unpredictable efficiency. He’ll go 7-11 3PT one game and 2–15 the next. Kid literally averages like 10 3PA per game... nuts. Who knows though, Virginia gets stage fright in the tournament.

Duke / MSU comes down to 3 factors.
#1 - Can MSU (specifically Winston) take care of the ball against a gambling lengthy defense.

#2 - Sparty ain’t stopping Zion, but can they slow him down?

#3 - If he’s slowed down, is Duke hitting shots?

UVA isn't beating Purdue if Kyle Guy keeps shooting 12% from three like he has his entire career in the tournament. 12 percent lol. 4-32 for his career.

Pretty amazing we’re in the Elite 8 with that kind of shooting. He definitely needs to bring it today or the season is over.

Kenpom gives Purdue a 35% chance of winning (seems low) and Michigan State a 52% chance of winning. The likelihood of both winning is 18.20%
