Trying to keep up with transfers and such

Kansas currently

Zach Clamence Sophmore
Jalen Wilson (I think he will come back 100%) Junior
Gradey Dick freshman
Bobby Pettiford sophmore
Dejuan Harris Junior

MJ Rice freshman
KJ Adams Sophmore
Ernest Udeh Freshman
Zuby Ejiofor Freshman
Kyle Cuffe Sophmore
Cam Martin Senior

Recruiting

Tyrese hunter (ISU transfer sophmore)
Kevin McCullar (texas tech transfer junior)

Returning:

Oscar Tshiebwe
Sahvir Wheeler
Damion Collins
Lance Ware
CJ Frederick
Jacop Toppin (presumably)

Incoming:
Cason Wallace
Chris Livingston
Antonio Reeves (transfer)

Only 9 guys on scholarship as we speak.

Michigan

PG Jaelin Llewelyn
C Hunter Dicksinon

Houston and Diabate are exploring NBA draft options. Nearly everyone else on the roster has been subject of transfer rumors so hard to say who will and won’t be back at this point in time.

Recruiting class is really good with C Tarris Reed (#32 overall), F Jett Howard (#40) and PG Dug McDaniel (#70).

Don't forget Yesufu.

Also recruiting Baylor Scheierman and Isiaih Mosley. Have to think they'd have a good shot at landing one of them. Scheierman grew up a KU fan and Mosley is a friend of Harris and Braun.

Hopefully they'll land Hunter and get Wilson and/or Braun back.

Edit: scratch Scheierman

If they were gonna transfer I think the deadline was yesterday.

Returning:
Caleb Mills (junior)
Jalen Warley (soph)
Matthew Cleveland (soph)
Cam’Ron Fletcher (junior or maybe redshirt sophomore?)
Naheem McLoud (senior)

Unsure:
John Butler (testing draft, soph)
Malik Osborne (debating pro or super senior)

Incoming:
Jaylen Gainey (transfer, Brown)
Darin Green (transfer, UCF)
Cameron Corhen - 4 star
Chandler Jackson - 4 star
De’Ante Green - 4 star
Tom House - 3 star
Jeremiah Bembry - 3 star (honestly this one might not be happening. If we get another transfer he could be pushed out).

Returning:
Wendell green
Kd johnson
Zep jasper
Jaylin williams
Dylan cardwell
Allen Flanagan

added:
5 star Yohan traore
4 star chance westry
Transfer Johni Broome
4star Tre Donaldson

pushing to add - 5star Julian Phillips. Quite a few writers say auburn leads

Current Projected Starting Five
Jeremy Roach, 6'2 Jr
Dariq Whitehead, 6'6 Fr
Joey Baker, 6'6 Sr (please, somebody better transfer in)
Kyle Filipowksi, 6'11 Fr
Dereck Lively, 7'1 Fr

Bench
Jaylen Brakes, 6'2 So
Jaden Schutt, 6'5 Fr
Kale Catchings, 6'6 Gr (via Harvard)
Mark Mitchell, 6'8 Fr
Ryan Young, 6'10 Sr (via Northwestern)
Christian Reeves, 7'1 Fr

I just can't imagine Scheyer is content with Joey Baker starting. Mark Mitchell is a 5-star recruit, but honestly feel he's much more suited for playing the 4 than on the wing. Feel like we land one big-time transfer to complete our roster.

Transfers Duke Has Contacted
Baylor Scheierman, South Dakota State
AJ Green, Northern Iowa
Isiaih Mosley, Missouri State

Malachi Smith, Chattanooga (heard rumors, but still not sure if we actually reached out)

UVA returns a ton of experience and adds the #15 class on Rivals, #11 on 247

Projected Starters
Kihei Clark (Super Senior)
Reece Beekman (Junior)
Armaan Franklin (Senior)
Jayden Gardner (Super Senior)
Kadin Shedrick (Redshirt Junior)

Bench
Bennett Vander Plas (Super Senior, transfer from Ohio)
Taine Murray (Sophomore)
Francisco Caffaro (Redshirt Senior)
Isaac McNeely (Freshman - 4 star SG, #72 recruit on Rivals, #57 on 247)
Isaac Traudt (Freshman - 4 star PF, #61 recruit on Rivals, #49 on 247)
Leon Bond (Freshman - 4 star SF, #70 recruit on Rivals, #58 on 247)
Ryan Dunn (Freshman - 4 star SG, #105 recruit on Rivals, #119 on 247)

We have 9 players on the roster currently.

El Ellis
Mike James
Devin Ree
Kamari Lands
JJ Traynor
Jaylen Withers
Sydney Curry
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield
Rose Wheeler

Hoping we get Hunter and maybe Bates and another guard or two to finish out the roster.

We're adding Adou Thiero on Sunday...

This past season, Thiero averaged 23.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 3.9 steals and 2.3 blocks per game for Quaker Valley High School, who went 27-1, won the WPIAL Class 4A title, and finished as the state runner-up. Thiero earned him TribLive HSSN Boys Basketball Player of the Year honors.

Painter needs a point guard..
Still a few gems in the portal..
Tougher to get into Purdue than a few other places tho.

We had one. But then some billionaire in Miami overpaid for him.

Might not matter who is on that roster if Tim Sullivan of the Courier Journal is correct.

Ncaa doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on anymore.
While that may be true, I'm not sure how people see this as a positive. The IARP was created to minimze conflicts of interest. And if I'm not mistaken, the NCAA itself referred the case to the IARP.

I’d honestly rather have the IARP handle it moreso than the NCAA taking it in their own hands. Idrc either way. Whatever happens happens, and it will be laughable to say the least considering what’s gone on in college athletics the last few years. Looking at you Kansas.

On a lighter note. I see Demarcus Cousins on the middle of the E to the R, he was before Payne.

If our entire core comes back... Watson, Juzang, Jaquez Jr and Bernard we'll be tough to beat. With the #8 class of Dylan Andrew's (6'5" G) Amari Bailey (6'6" G) and
Adem Bona (6'10" F) incoming to boot.
