I still can't believe we won a national championship in basketball. I had to suffer through some really difficult years in my first few years as a UVA fan under Pete Gillen and Dave Leitao. The UMBC loss was brutal but the natty is so freaking sweet for me. Don't really care about UL or KU. We'll never be a blue blood but no one can take that championship away from me.
I think that's why most here are genuinely happy for you guys.
Now that you have a taste for championships. It only gets more brutal from here.

The official rankings were started well before some mythical single elimination tournament was started by the ncaa.
The ncaa does not hold its officials that are responsible for upholding the rules of the game to any kind of standard. They also have shown to turn a blind eye to universities using fake classes. This is why the official rankings nullify that mythical tournament. The rules are the rules. Sorry your school you cheer for can’t live up to the highest standards
