I apologize, I honestly like Barnes. Still don’t think Knecht is on the same level as Houston or Lofton… teams adapt year to year to players and those 2 guys did it for 3-4 years. Glad he’s gone after this year!
It was a great game by two really good teams. Nobody needs to be putting down anyone.

He’s an incredible player, I’m not hating on him. I just don’t think he’s as good as Houston or Lofton collegiately overall. Maybe if he did what he’s doing for 3 years in THE SEC like the other guys I’d think different. Ziegler was a hot mess early....turning the ball over...bad shot, after bad shot....Then he settled, in, played extremely well, and that allowed UT to "take control"---Knecht's 39 was huge----and bug reason why they won; hits some huge three's down the stretch. But Zeigler settling down, not turning the ball over, forcing shots, changed the dynamics just as much.

Zeigler was out of control early....awful shots...trying to do to much. He settled. Started finding guys, i.e. Knecht.
Its not a very difficult concept. DO I think Zeiglers performance was better? No. Do I think it was just as important? Absolutely.
