If Purdue winning meant a B10 title or co-title for IU, i'd root for whoever Purdue was playing to lose.
Is that really the reason, or is it because you low key think @pig1960 , @boiler1987 & @boilerzz are fruits?

UK held bama to 1.01 per possossion which isn't bad. The game plan centered around taking away the 3's and not caring much about the 2's. Cal said they couldn't beat us shooting 2's. the idea was to create as many possessions as possible. We're too good on transition and kept the to's down, scored a lot on their mistakes.Possibly. Shooting 68% from three for 35 minutes also helps. Griffin for Bama missed a ton of open looks----and they still gave up 95. Bama only took 17 threes, and still score 95.
Gonzaga put 89 on them----while shooting 22% from three.
TXA dropped 97....
UGA 96
UF 94
UT 103..
All loses except for UGA.
Teams can run with them.....Its just when UK is Golden State from three, well, they can be lethal.
Isn't that around 180 per game? Granted it was against one of the worst defenses in the NCAA.28 pts in 6 minutes in one span.
I think this game has all the makings of a great game. Both teams have offense and defense. I can't wait.@della do you remember the last time Auburn visited Knoxville? 46-43. Offenses were terrible that day
I just can’t see the Jewish hammer winning this one in his old stomping grounds. Hope I’m wrong! I think Zeigler has a big gameI think this game has all the makings of a great game. Both teams have offense and defense. I can't wait.
They are solidly in the field now for sure IMO. Bigger question is if tamu or oleYou know I was talking to someone about uneven conference scheduling....check out Mississippi St's first 9 SEC games this year.
@South Carolina L 62-68
vs Tennessee W 77-72
vs Bama L 74-82
@UK L 77-90
vs Vandy W 68-55
@Florida L 79-70
vs Auburn W 64-58
@ole miss L 82-88
@ Bama L 67-99
Basically all but 2 games vs the top of the SEC. That's nuts. Since that stretch they've won 5 straight.
SEC scheduling sucks big time, just about as much as SEC refs.You know I was talking to someone about uneven conference scheduling....check out Mississippi St's first 9 SEC games this year.

Honestly, I think you coming here to puff out your chest after beating a bubble team says more about you and where your program is than them.I’m just dropping by to say hey to the ones who was hoping all game long that UK was gonna get beat! You know who you are!😘
Shit, I was one of them. When a top 5 defensive team is busting 3's on you like that and they're at home, with their stupid white-out bullshit, there aren't too many teams winning that game.I’m just dropping by to say hey to the ones who was hoping all game long that UK was gonna get beat! MSU isn’t a bubble team, not even close. They’re a top 5 defensive team with a ton of size that was on a 5 game winning streak.Honestly, I think you coming here to puff out your chest after beating a bubble team says more about you and where your program is than them.
I didn’t expect UK to lose. There’s been a lot of SEC conference honking going on around here by fans of any team in that conference, but Mississippi St is a very me’h team. Still, a conference road win of any kind is definitely one to take.
Tough to play the best players when you make promises.
This is exactly why UK ain't going anywhere in March. Cal refuses to play his best lineups
He was solid!Shit, I was one of them. When a top 5 defensive team is busting 3's on you like that and they're at home, with their stupid white-out bullshit, there aren't too many teams winning that game.
For a good bit, the refs were calling every touch on us, but they stopped doing that early in the 2nd half.
Even though Reeves got 21 points, he was off.
Basically, Reed Sheppard showed everyone how you ball.
You serious Clark!? Puffing out my chest? Bubble team? You understand I was joking right? We played like shit (for the most part) and got our ass saved by Sheppard. If I was puffing out my chest I would’ve came here right after the game and done my puffing instead of waiting until 1:30 in the morning while I was taking a shit. Also you can call State a bubble team (they will make the tourney) but that don’t change the fact it’s hard to win there. Ask Tennessee and Auburn how it went for them down there! Miami is a god awful team and I’m pretty sure your Tar Heels had to have your PG have a career game at home to beat them. Don’t take this shit so serious man. It was taking a late night shit and was just being silly. Nothing more, nothing less!Honestly, I think you coming here to puff out your chest after beating a bubble team says more about you and where your program is than them.

I think Dillingham off the bench is a smart move. If he's cooking, let him cook, but he's too loose with the ball.But he doesn't make promises or whatever the usual Cal slurpers say.
Starting lineup from now on should be
Reed
Dillingham
Reeves
Adou or Edwards
Z
Sub Z as needed for breathers/foul trouble, effectiveness etc. Wagner goes in to spell the guards. But it won't happen and we'll get to see that horrific lineup at the start of games/halves until it we lose in March because of it
They’re on bubble watches. ESPN has them on “should be in” but aren’t locked in.MSU isn’t a bubble team, not even close. They’re a top 5 defensive team with a ton of size that was on a 5 game winning streak.
They beat Tennessee and Auburn in that gym.
They’re probably a sweet 16 ceiling team, but damn, everyone is losing road ganes to teams a lot worse than this.
Purdue lost to OSU, duke lost to Wake, who then lost to ND, uNC lost to Syracuse, KU lost at home to BYU and @ Wva… any road win against a tournament team, is a good win.
But you are correct, there's a lot of conference honking in here… but I love it… .for once
Pretty easy to strike a nerve with you. That’s a lot of words for such minor comment from me.You serious Clark!? Puffing out my chest? Bubble team? You understand I was joking right? I mean, you do realize this is the in season SEC thread right?? Did he call you out specifically or something (doesn't seem like he called anyone out specifically in looking at his post)...Pretty easy to strike a nerve with you. That’s a lot of words for such minor comment from me.
I consider teams on bubble watch lists as being a bubble team, even if they should be in.
Every win in college ball matters, and I’m happy with each one. I just don’t consider a win over someone of Mississippi St’s level as being high enough to come here and flap gums. But to each their own.
A bunch of freshmen going on the road in front of a sellout against a top 10 defense without 1 of only 3 non freshmen, is a massive win. I'll remind you, MSU was a 4.5 point favorite and had beaten Tennessee and Auburn in that gym.They’re on bubble watches. ESPN has them on “should be in” but aren’t locked in.
I’m not saying it isn’t a fine win. Probable tournament team and you beat them on their court. That’s a good win. But coming here to brag about it seems more South Carolina than Kentucky.
Fair enough. I just always put Kentucky at being above that. It was a good win so enjoy away.A bunch of freshmen going on the road in front of a sellout against a top 10 defense without 1 of only 3 non freshmen, is a massive win. Also, that was a quad 1 win.
Point to every team out there, minus maybe Houston and you see that everyone is losing to teams far worse than MSU and a lot of them are on the 1, 2, 3 and 4 lines.
Purdue is supposed to be miles ahead of the field, they lost to 3 teams (Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio state) that MSU would dog walk right now.
Also, it's not who UK beat, it's how they did it and it's not like anyone is saying UK just beat the Lakers, we're bragging about Reed Sheppard and a damn good road win.
Everyone else win honks around here, UK fans can brag too.
Think about the last 5 years though. It’s been one thing after another. Schaedon sharpe, injuries, players pouting, players pretending to be injured and pouting, losses at home to mid majors, 1 win in the tournament since 2019 and on and on and on.Fair enough. I just always put Kentucky at being above that. It was a good win so enjoy away.
I wish he could just enjoy the win and stop taking shots at the fans… .who have been right.
oh ok so I was on here pumping my chest and now my nerve is struck?? Thanks for letting me know.😂 Minor comment? You said I was pumping my chest and something about my program. I simply explained to you what was going on at 1:30 this morning and how your program wasn’t exactly world beaters and you got your feelings hurt. Next time I’ll be more careful.Pretty easy to strike a nerve with you. That’s a lot of words for such minor comment from me.

Same here man! I apologize.I like you Scotty. All in good fun.
Bad both ways for sureRefs are just flat ruining this Au v UT game. Everything is a foul. They aren't even at the 12 minute mark yet and both teams have at least 8 fouls.
