BTW...Congrats on snagging RL Winking
Aside from the obvious ones?Seriously, is there any legitimate reason he'd pick Vandy or KU over IU?
What obvious reason would he pick Vanderbilt over IU in basketball? I'm listening.Aside from the obvious ones?
Two fellow 5 stars and a 4 star. And no candy stripes. What obvious reason would he pick Vanderbilt over IU in basketball? I'm listening.

Their excellent freshamn class coming in might have something to do with it.What obvious reason would he pick Vanderbilt over IU in basketball? I'm listening.
Two 5 star freshman, one with a torn ACL, to join a 20 loss team. They would be lucky to make the tourney.Their excellent freshamn class coming in might have something to do with it.
Whatever you say, boss. They’re still in his top 3, and a real threat to steal him away from IU. Probably more of a threat than Kansas. Crazy, I know. Two 5 star freshman, one with a torn ACL, to join a 20 loss team. They would be lucky to make the tourney.
Vandy is the one that has really baffled me. I wouldn't blame him one bit for going to Kansas. Ton of history, winning program, great fan base, hof coach ect...I really think at this point that it is IU, but if he picks Vandy over IU in basketball that wouldn't make a lot of sense.Whatever you say, boss. It’s definitely IU. With his open gym announcement, something like 4000+ people will be in attendance. I don’t see him disappointing everyone and not picking IU. I liked our odds before he said it was an open gym. Now, IMO, it’s a done deal, he’ll be a Hoosier.Vandy is the one that has really baffled me. I wouldn't blame him one bit for going to Kansas. I wonder if this is a new username for Mathboy, proudopete or maybe even TD2 (Ducati). Those guys are the worst. Lol!
9 of the last 11 upper echelon recruits from Indiana left the state. I'm sure they heard "IU" chants at their games too. It's not a major stretch to think that a Louisville fan who lives in a suburb of Louisville will do the same. Even though the open announcement would seem to indicate Indiana, some people close to the situation believe he would've announced this way regardless.
Louisville sportswriter Fletcher Page sez:
I think New Albany High is the only place Romeo would make his decision and sign. He is New Albany. He is such an important figure in that community, and he should have his time with his people in that place. I don’t think the college he will choose had any sway on where the ceremony would be held. I don’t see a relation between the location and the decision.

One again you truly do not know much about this kids recruitment, so just stop while you're behind.
Fletcher Page isn't close to this recruitment. He just lives in a nearby town.
What exactly is there to know besides the fact that some middle-aged IU geeks go to his games and chant "IU" and that some of them will skip work to pile into his gym on Monday?
A $___ handshake from Sean Miller's brother?
when is his announcement? I hate when players drag shit out like this.

A ku fan talking about money exchanges. Haha. That’s funny.

They would have a top 3 recruiting class with Langford, Garland and Shittu. There's no way they're missing the tournament with that kind of talent unless there are major chemistry issues.Vandy is the one that has really baffled me. At least you tried.
you do seem to struggle with it at times.Comedy, thou art difficult.
I generally think it's good when Indiana kids stay in-state, and from all indications, Romeo seems to be a stand-up kid that goes about things the right way (the Calipari stuff from his dad notwithstanding). So I'm not going to bitch too much when he picks IU next week. It’s definitely IU. With his open gym announcement, something like 4000+ people will be in attendance. On the other hand, the Indianapolis media is going to be an insufferable cesspool of slack-jawed fanboys for the next 13 months, so this is going to blow.
Or if they had a shitty coach, like the one who just had one of the worst seasons in Vanderbilt history during his second year. They would have a top 3 recruiting class with Langford, Garland and Shittu. There's no way they're missing the tournament with that kind of talent unless there are major chemistry issues.
Done deal bro, let it go.Romeo: “I don’t think it is going to be a negative reaction if I don’t pick IU,” Langford said. “I think they will support me either way, wherever I go.”
"If it's not IU and I don't know for sure if it's them or not," Tim Langford said. "If they are truly Romeo fans, the difference between being school fans not my son's fans. So when all is said and done, who's really for my son, who's a fan of him."
Epic meltdown coming?Laughing
