So you think it got equal media coverage as it would have had either person involved been a different race??? Not a chance.
It would be the poster child for police brutality had they not been the same race. That’s part of the problem. EVERY life should be valued the same, not just the lives of people of the same race.
What people decide to do with headline news is up to them. The point was that all of the major news networks had it front and center.
Edit: To clarify; how long a story remains in the spotlight is entirely dependent on the public’s reaction to it.
