All im saying is no one calls anyone dead until their heart stops beating. They dont declare people dead when their brain activity stops, when their heatbeat stops they are dead, regardless is a machine is the only thing keeping their heat beating, as long as blood is pumping they are still considered “alive”

I'm not going down the abortion rabbit hole. I do not have a strong opinion on it like other seem to. I am simply going by your logic of what is dead and what is alive.
I see both sides of the aisle on abortion. I do not feel comfortable telling women what to do with their bodies but at the same time, I think the whole "they aren't people yet" argument can be quite shallow. So I tend to lean pro choice, but its not something I will live or die on.

Im not so sure the article was about abortion, as much as it was about people admitting to cutting organs out of aborted fetuses that still had a heart beat. And they obv wanted them that way before collecting the organs or why and how would it even be possible.
