There’s a reason this saying exists.

Tillman just got 11/7 with 3 steals too to help the Grizzlies get into the playoffs. Dude has had maybe the best career out of the second round of this draft so far. Just a solid big immediately into his career at the next level. He has good advanced stats, about 100th in the NBA in PER as a bench role player.

Not saying he wouldn’t have excelled elsewhere, but there’s not many better places to end up than Memphis for a rookie. They’re super young, so there are still minutes available but they’ve built a nice core the last few years and have a criminally underrated coach. That was a nice win for them tonight.

I always liked Tillman and was very disappointed that he didn’t choose Purdue. He is a hard worker that always talked about wanting to take care of his family. It’s great to see that he is excelling in the league.

He's had a better life after MSU than most of Izzo's players.

I mean he, being an instant impact NBA rookie is pretty ****ing rare, especially for a 4 star recruit. I’d say he definitely has, it would be dumb to disagree with that.

What a ****ing disgrace of a human this guy is. Can’t believe MSU fans give him any benefit of the doubt when it comes to whether or not he assaulted that girl who told him no. No means no and he wouldn’t let her leave. Now this? Scum.

Horrible situation, kid absolutely threw his life away.

The self righteousness from you is funny though, since you're a fan of a school who let their student athletes get ass raped for 25 years. Bo knew and just let it happen. Absolutely disgusting.

Izzo should probably retire because of this.

No means no. Unless you’re Keith Appling.

What’s sad is MSU fans read that police report and statement from his teammate (Payne) and still don’t think Appling did anything wrong.

Maybe, just maybe, someone that just murdered a guy actually did what the girl and only eye witness said he did.

See what I mean? Does Izzo have one of the worst % of former players committing felonies?

They should have been kicked off the team.

Do we expect Watts to improve this year now that he might land with a coach that bothers to develop talent?
We literally just had a guy who was a fat undersized big man go off as a rookie and help his team into the playoffs. And the guy who he was playing against on the other team was a 4 star recruit who turned into an all American at MSU and NBA DPOY. Aaron a Henry is about to be drafted after being a sub 150 recruit.

Shitty troll

That’s not it, it’s just some very recent examples.

I have no interest of getting into this today. You’re right hail, a guy who isn’t an elite recruiter and has gone to 8 Final Fours and the best and most consistent program of the past 2 decades can’t develop talent.

Did you just call Draymond Green a very recent example of player development? Good lord.

I remember back when Izzo use to be a top 3 coach in the country, too. I’m sure MSU fans miss that.

You’re right, we’re overrated as hell. That 2020 team really came along to end the year with 4 straight double digit victories over ranked teams, and that 2017 team had 1 player over 6’6 after injuries and gotten eaten alive down low all year, but I know you hate context.

Hail you win this one, you’re right. I don’t want to turn this into many pages of spewing shit. Izzo can’t develop talent, he’s a bum coach as you can clearly see by results.

One season removed from a Final Four team that beat Zion at Duke. Funny how you wanna talk shit after the one time Izzo hasn't won the conference in the past four years.

Are you foaming at the mouth as type? You're unhinged, dude. Seek help.

Waste of time to even argue with him. He’s going to ignore any part of your argument that he knows doesn’t fit his narrative and then hyper analyze some weird arbitrary detail he deems important.

Odd dude. I'll just ignore so as to not completely muck up this thread.

Izzo getting blamed for Applings actions makes as much sense as blaming Painter for Swanigan’s.

Both coaches have 0% of the blame, especially when they haven’t been in the program for almost a decade now. Overall, it’s just a weird hill to die on.

Comparing Swanigan to Appling is interesting.
