You may also want to revisit the original conversation. I proposed a bet that he wouldn’t go top 15. @CardinalBoiler said no and came back with the 1st round bet. I even acknowledged that I thought he would get taken in the back half of the first, but this place means nothing to me lol. I’ve made 3 separate ban bets with Purdue fans. Clearly I don’t care about posting here.

Purdue looks like 2018 Iowa defense in this first half against uindy. Can’t hit FT’s either.
I think the dribble containment may overtake 3 pt shooting as my biggest concern. Though they’re somewhat related, in that our better defenders may not be our best shooters.
Ugly game. Not very encouraging. Just an exhibition but defense is concerning. Also, I’m not sure I’ve seen a lineup tonight that is a clear finishing 5. Sloppy.
A lot of lineups with 2 of Thompson/Morton/Hunter which I hope is just some exhibition shit.
Pretty sloppy and pedestrian 86-64 win by Purdue over U Indy. We started out down 11-2 (Not great, Bob).

I missed the first half. Skipped out early to play golf and then grabbed beers afterward so I didn't see it. Doubt I'll go back and watch it.
This is why I was saying it can be beneficial to play cupcakes early. You can experiment with lineups without risking an L.
I think the most surprising thing from the Purdue game was Sasha turning the ball over twice on post entry passes. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes… lol

They shot like us in some of those past Iowa games. You see the difference from one half to the other as they go from 58% to only 42%. 8 pt lead to 22 pt lead.Here’s a better box score from last night.
Curious how the minutes will be distributed in real games.

Just read an article that made it sound like it’s a passion of his. He has been using boxing training to get in shape for the NFL for a while, and it says he turned down NFL offers. Sure sounds like a one way ticket to CTE issues.
The free throws were weird. He was a solid FT shooter last year - 83% over the last two months of the season.
The threes: when he sticks to catch and shoot, he's pretty good, specifically on kick outs from Tre. He tanked his percentages last year with pull up stuff.
