Painter could have crucified Gillis on a cross in front of Mackey & Trojan would criticize how tame Painter’s punishment was.
Hanner got a 3 game suspension, and many IU fans were upset that it was only that amount. Williams and Robinson got 4 games each for weed. Not exactly endangering people’s lives like Gillis, Few, and Perea.
His punishment was exactly as I expected. Young Stoney only got 3 games for his DUI I believe.
It was the exact same as Gillis. It’s Painter’s standard for this type of stuff. There are other ways to punish that don’t include missing games too.
We’re the 3rd ranked team in the country in the CFP rankings and I see Purdue on the road as an absolute toss up, considering their play style and tendency to ruin seasons. Just a weak year after Georgia.
I bet pretty hard on MSU -2.5 (against my normal policy of betting against Purdue), solely because I think the line will move towards MSU. Will go other way before the game to try to middle.

Our insiders are so focused on football that we’ve been getting pretty lackluster basketball coverage. We’ve heard the visit went will but he didn’t give a silent commit or anything. I wish I could share more but I genuinely don’t know.
I’ve been a vocal nonbeliever in his offensive game on the board. Seems to me like one of those guys that’s a PF skill set in a wings body, an athletic wing albeit. However, he’s already elite defensively, and I think he’s a great glue guy. Just does a lot of little things well for a high schooler. I see his highest ceiling as an small ball 4.

Dune was pretty sick. 8/10. Didn’t have the impact on me like Interstellar or LOTR but still damn good. I’ll probably dig deep on the lore tonight and tomorrow and get hooked.
KenPom at the end of the year does not include the previous year. By conference, that’s worked out of the equation. Nice try though. The rest of your post is could’ve, should’ve, would’ve. Not much there.

So curious---what does KenPom use for their preseason ratings? 2021 Final KenPom ratings had Gonzaga, Baylor, Michigan aand Illinois....Preseason 2022 has Gonzaga, Michigan, Kansas and Baylor. Illinois is 5th.
Rest of my post is some could've, should've, would;ve----sure. But there was quite the consensus that Indiana was Kentucky's toughest game in the tourney. IU played very well that night, led by as much as 6, dealt with serious foul trouble, and was without Verdell JOnes. Yer still gave UK fits. And if not for a historic night from the FT line by UK, Indiana very could have won that game.
Bottom line is this---IU beat a 29-5 VCU team that had kust beaten #15, and 5th seeded Wichita State. Easy to say VCU may have been a rab underseeded.....Advanced to the SW 16,m where they lost to one of the best teams CBB has seen in quite some timee...All the while, Illinois got boat raced by a 9 seed, who's best wins were Drake and Misouri St.
At the end of the day, both Crean and Underwood had really good 4th seasons, Crean fllowed that up with a Big 10 title, and another SW 16---Something Underwood has yet to do.
Huh? He said by the end of the year kenpom doesn’t have any weight on the previous year, which is true.
