I forgot that Howard started out at a mid major. How many guys did he put in the pros while coaching on teams where success wasn’t already baked into the program?Underwood has been coaching for how long?

Ayo and Kofi have performed as expected. Same with TJD. If you are a top 50 recruit, you SHOULD be one of the best players in college basketball by year 3.If developing players into great players doesn’t make someone a good developers of talent, what the fvck are we talking about? Idiocy.

He has developed about as well as Archie Miller. Congrats.

Quality troll. For his ranking Underwood developed the hell out of him.His numbers went down every year at Illinois. He’s also not an NBA player. He’s in the G League.
😂
So Underwood must be an excellent coach if he can get significantly better results with the same talent. Your retahd pie cuts both ways.
Who said they had the same talent? You stated that Underwood has a player in the league, 1 in the g league, and one as a POY candidate this year. Archie has Romeo in the league. Juwan Morgan I’m the g league (was in the nba the last two years), and TJD as a POY candidate.😂

He may never make the Sweet 16 as a coach. How many great coaches didn’t make a Sweet 16 until age 58?
He just admitted that it didWhat? No it doesn’t.
If/when I win the lottery I will quit my job.
That doesn’t mean it’s a done deal thah I’m winning the lottery.
And it was. Regardless, Gillinois is claiming that I said IU would have a borderline top 5 class with or without Clowney. That’s false.
Sounds like a John Groce problem. If only Groce had recruited a player with an NBA brother that Underwood could’ve inherited for this lame argument.Sounds like an Underwood problem.
Lololol Crean had 58 total wins and 19 conference wins at this point in his rebuild, and he had no pandemic shortened seasons. Underwood’s ahead.Who said they had the same talent? Archie is a shitty coach though. Like absolutely terrible. Now Crean on the other hand was able to develop players and had better results than Underwood. Not sure you want to go down that road again though.
No it doesn’t. That just means I thought we were getting him. It doesnt mean I thought we had a borderline top 5 class without him.
It implies that it is basically a done deal
And it was. Regardless, Gillinois is claiming that I said IU would have a borderline top 5 class with or without Clowney. That’s false.
Just to be clear for HailWhat? No it doesn’t.

Imagine making the argument that a Eli Brooks should be evaluated on where he is at this point in his career and not his past while simultaneously trying to troll with this brain dead argument. How many great coaches didn’t make a Sweet 16 until age 58?
Crean inherited a far worse situation and still got to a sweet 16 in year 4. At this point in his tenure, he had the preseason #1 team heading into year 5.Lololol Crean had 58 total wins and 19 conference wins at this point in his rebuild, and he had no pandemic shortened seasons. Underwood’s ahead.
a quick search reveals…To be fair, he said "IF" Indiana were to land CLowney, IU would have had a borderline Top 5 class. And they would have. Still, in Year one, with a coach with no CBB experience---I'll take a Top 15 class out of the gate
You said 50-60 and IU will be very close to top 5 with Clowney. JHS is a composite 5*. Far better than any scrub Illinois has committed.
Thanks for proving me right. I said we were only close to top 5 with Clowney.a quick search reveals…
You two are the best duo in all of college basketball, always got each other’s back. What? No it doesn’t.
If/when I win the lottery I will quit my job.
That doesn’t mean it’s a done deal thah I’m winning the lottery.
I mean that pretty much confirms what I said, he said----that WITH Clowney, IU would have a borderline(very close) Top class.a quick search reveals…
Pretty much...Thanks for proving me right. I said we were only close to top 5 with Clowney.
It’s actually quite strange. Hail nitpicks to the millionth degree on literally everything, but then defends obvious BS from certain folks on here. It was the douche SNU before and now Trojan. Don’t get it.You two are the best duo in all of college basketball, always got each other’s back.
Um would never buy a basketball coach away but lol at bama having deeper pockets than umNeither of you can afford him. Alabama has deeper pockets.
They have common enemies. It’s actually quite strange. Hail nitpicks to the millionth degree on literally everything, but then defends obvious BS from certain folks on here. It was the douche SNU before and now Trojan. Don’t get it.
And you are the Dumb to Gillinois’ Dumber. They have common enemies.
Trojan is the useful idiot, the Pinky to hail’s Brain.
Are you seriously comparing what Crean inherited, opposed to Underwood?Lololol Crean had 58 total wins and 19 conference wins at this point in his rebuild, and he had no pandemic shortened seasons. Underwood’s ahead.
Underwood scrapped the roster and started over from scratch between year 1 and 2. Underwood’s 4th year was a much better team than Cream’s 4th, and it has every chance to be as good as his 5th. Of course we know what happened to Crean after those years. Are you seriously comparing what Crean inherited, opposed to Underwood?
Like seriously?
IN Year 4, Crean won 27 games, 5th in Big 10 and went to the SW 16---as a 4 seed.
Underwood won 24 games, 2nd in Big 10, and lost in the 2nd round----as a 1-seed.
Year 5, Crean had the preseason #1 team....
Underwood does not....
Its an absolute asinine argument. Crean had ONE player return from the previous season---Kyle Taber. He averaged 1ppg the previous year. Team was full of freshman, transfers and walk-on's. Seven walk-on's to be exact..
C'mon, dude.....Its not even close.
Your not worth the argument, bro...Underwood scrapped the roster and started over from scratch between year 1 and 2. Underwood’s 4th year was a much better team than Cream’s 4th, and it has every chance to be as good as his 5th. Of course we know what happened to Crean after those years.
You finished 5th.Your not worth the argument, bro...
If Underwoods 4th team was so much better, then why did his Top seeded Illini get skull ****d by a 9 seed in the 2nd round? All the while, 4th seeded Indiana won more games, advanced to the SW 16, where they probably gave one of stronger title winning teams in recent history, all they wanted..
Ye we know what happened to Crean after the 2012 year(4th season)-----He went on to two more Sw 16's, and won 2 Big 10 titles...
Agree Illinois has a chance to be as good as 2013 Indiana----but I highly doubt it. That team was realy good.
2013 iu was awesome, I miss 2013 b1g, definitely the peak season for the conference since the early 90s2013
100% with you. Phenomenal movie and can’t wait for part 2. Villeneuve ain’t fcking around.I watch about 15-20 movies a year in theaters. Seeing Dune just now was the best movie theater experience of my life. 10/10.

My fav movies aren’t normally the huge blockbusters. I’m more into the Good Will Hunting and Almost Famous type movies, but Dune was seriously awesome. There are other scifi movies based on great books like Ender’s Game that just didn’t work out, but Dune hit the money. This will go down on Lord of the Rings level for me. And that’s my favorite series of all time.
Your class even with Clowney would be 10th according to 247.I mean that pretty much confirms what I said, he said----that WITH Clowney, IU would have a borderline(very close) Top class.

I’m seeing it today. Hyped.I watch about 15-20 movies a year in theaters. Seeing Dune just now was the best movie theater experience of my life. 10/10.
