I mean, Toronto and McGill are actually AAU schools and have huge enrollments.
It’s still so fücking funny to me that Nebraska is the only non-AAU institution in the conference. What a piece of shit school.
But that list does matter for Big Ten administrations. They weren’t super stoked about Nebraska not being on it when they were added. Also, Michael McRobbie, who is now IU’s former president (as of this month), is the chair of the AAU
Of note, Missouri and Kansas are both AAU schools, but they aren’t exactly academic power houses.

Good call. I must have been remembering the stir when they got kicked out of the AAU because that was after they accepted the offer but before they officially joined. It happened in April of 2011 and they weren’t in the conference officially until July of that year.

Okpara and him play for the same AAU team, it’s fairly obvious which one is the better prospect…
I watched final quarter and was physically on the court but did NOTHING! Prior to that I wanted him for UM, but now understand why Howard has backed off.
He will probably be a 5 star I’m the next rankings, and you don’t want him? One bad game doesn’t make him a bad prospect, he’s been blowing up.
