Wasn’t last year the first year he did? Lol. Hey even high school coaches get lucky sometimes.
And yet Brohm has a worse record each year and Allen's keeps getting better.

Like I said Kyle didn’t play.I watched final quarter and was physically on the court but did NOTHING! Prior to that I wanted him for UM, but now understand why Howard has backed off.
And yet IU has a losing record against BrohmAnd yet Brohm has a worse record each year and Allen's keeps getting better.
Just to be sure, I just watched the UTUBE video (outube.com/watch?v=IMvpxiZOR24), Here to help u out is recap:He will probably be a 5 star I’m the next rankings, and you don’t want him? One bad game doesn’t make him a bad prospect, he’s been blowing up.
24-22 >>>>> 19-25. The record would be even H2H had they played last year as IU was really good and Purdue was trash (just like this coming year). And yet IU has a losing record against Brohm
Would be .500 but y'all dirty mfersAnd yet IU has a losing record against Brohm
It's that on top of Brohm sucking dick as he goes a long. I'm still amazed at your QB situation, never would have thought that.Jeez, IU wins 6 games against teams that went 16-26 last year and get beat by a .500 ole miss team without half their roster in a bowl game and suddenly they’re drunk with confidence.
Just to be sure, I just watched the UTUBE video (outube.com/watch?v=IMvpxiZOR24), Here to help u out is recap:
#54 white guy with green shoes. Did NOT start!
1st qtr. in at 2:52 until 3:01, no action. 1:45 Duren blows by on back door cut for dunk. Next seen at 5.4 sec left in qtr
2nd qtr 1.9 flat footed at rim as shot is short and he does not react.
3rd qtr. 6:35 takes pass under rim and shoots?. Shot blocked by Lively BELOW the rim. 6:27 another pass and another block by Lively while Filip goes to the deck. FLAT FOOTED!!!
4th qtr drive by layup shot, NO D!
1:55 another backdoor cut by Duren while Filip at top of the key. NO awareness of what is happening thus no D.
1:20 Lively 3 pt OVER flat footed Filip
4.3 walks off court alone with head down.
The first time I watched through from start to finish just to be sure I was watching for the right guy. Second time I hit the stop button to make notes. Announcer said that Filip did not play, Was he being observant or sarcastic?
No doubt not in box score as I never saw him with a basket, free throw, foul, block, rebound or even an assist.
IF he was sick and coaches played him anyway, shame on them, IF he was simply overwhelmed and in awe of Duren and Lively plus the game going too fast for him, then shame on him. An OV wasted in MHO! Watch him at some other school and if he improves, pick him up on the transfer. But for now take Reed and one other big as a project. Sort of a Davis type.
And 8 wins the year before.Jeez, IU wins 6 games against teams that went 16-26 last year and get beat by a .500 ole miss team without half their roster in a bowl game and suddenly they’re drunk with confidence.
OK Tested pos for covidHis twin brother played. He’s a mid major prospect. Kyle didn’t play.
Did they hang a round of 32 banner too?
Purdue has sucked, no doubt. And eh QB isn’t the problem. Here’s where Purdue’s finished in pass yds per game since 2016 in the big ten:Would be .500 but y'all dirty mfers

I'm guessing a banner raising and ring ceremony is being worked on for the home opener this year.Did they hang a round of 32 banner too?
I’d say they could better, but I’d be lying…
Purdue has sucked, no doubt. And eh QB isn’t the problem. Here’s where Purdue’s finished in pass yds per game since 2016 in the big ten:
2020: 1st
2019: 1st

2017: 5th
2016: 1st
It’s every other facet of the game that needs work.

Yeah you’re going to throw the ball a lot when you’re losing by 2+ possessions every gamePurdue has sucked, no doubt. And eh QB isn’t the problem. Here’s where Purdue’s finished in pass yds per game since 2016 in the big ten:

Or Brohm has always preferred to air it out more than run the ball lol.Yeah you’re going to throw the ball a lot when you’re losing by 2+ possessions every game
Allen struggled until he got his players on the team. Brohm is struggling now that he has his players on the team. I think a lot of that has to do with recruiting strategy and team building. Seems like every year Purdue is adding two or 3 really good skill position players and not really adding any great defenders (except the Karlaftis boys) or oLine.Allen absolutely underachieved his first two years in Bloomington with the roster he inherited compared to what Brohm did. Purdue making a bowl game those first two years was nothing short of crazy with how bad things were when he took over. Brohm had the better first two years and Allen had the better second two years. Will be interesting to see how the next few years go for both programs.
Why does his defense always suck?Or Brohm has always preferred to air it out more than run the ball lol.
Why does his defense always suck?
His defense has the same trend as his tenure at Purdue. Started out decent and got worse. It was decent with players he didn’t recruit. It’s gotten worse with players he has recruited. Tom Allen is on the exact opposite trend.Doesn’t always suck. Was decent his first few years IIRC. Disco was a disaster no doubt. I’m cautiously optimistic about the defense this year with some of the transfers but we’ll see.
With how they have the meanstreets and Mokan prospects ranked, it really makes me question the 2022 rankings.Might?
Okpara and him play for the same AAU team, it’s fairly obvious which one is the better prospect…
His best defensive players on those first couple of seasons were guys he got via transfer or recruited. His defense has the same trend as his tenure at Purdue. Started out decent and got worse. It was decent with players he didn’t recruit. It’s gotten worse with players he has recruited. Tom Allen is on the exact opposite trend.
Allen's had success but that's in part to employing the Glen Mason school of scheduling strategy. Load up on creampuffs and lose to the better conference teams but still become bowl eligible.Allen struggled until he got his players on the team. The ranking sites have been playing catch up since COVID started, I expect the post-summer rankings to be much more accurate. With how they have the meanstreets and Mokan prospects ranked, it really makes me question the 2022 rankings.
Brohm throws the ball even when they’re getting 8 YPC against a Rutgers. It’s been one of my gripes with him. Point is though, QB play has been good enough to win more games.Yeah you’re going to throw the ball a lot when you’re losing by 2+ possessions every game

Personally I’d have Reed and Washington in the 30’s and I’d give the edge to Reed based on his production. Washington finally started to look like the high ranked guy at the end of Peach Jam or he would fall further.
Rodgers and Kraft would be in the 60 to 75 range. One is the defensive guy, the other a true scorer. But both get shit done.
Okpara and Casey would be somewhere around 100, neither gets enough done on the court to warrant their rankings right now.
Not sure who had Osu as his leader but I don’t think it’s reciprocal. From everything I’ve read Osu has never pushed for Reed and has other bigs ahead of him.
This isn’t going to go as well as you hoped…Allen's had success but that's in part to employing the Glen Mason school of scheduling strategy. Load up on creampuffs and lose to the better conference teams but still become bowl eligible.
Frankly, I wish Brohm would schedule down a bit (tho not that extreme).
Here's a fun comparison you can do. In the last 2 years (when IU was supposedly significantly better), what are the teams' records against schools that ended the season with a winning record?
Nope. It ended exactly as I expected. Purdue has struggled but they still didn't suck any worse than IU did against better teams. This isn’t going to go as well as you hoped…
Both Purdue and IU are 1-7 in the last two years against teams with a record of .500 or better.
IU is 13-0 against teams with a losing record while Purdue is only 5-5 against those teams.
No doubt IU has been better against the bad teams than Purdue. Purdue has had some really questionable losses during Brohm's tenure but has also had better wins than IU. The issue is with the consistency and being better against the crappy teams. This isn’t going to go as well as you hoped…

But Purdue is not good against poor teams and IU doesn’t lose to them. You are trying your hardest to make it seem like IU and Purdue have had similar success the last two years.Nope. It ended exactly as I expected. Purdue has struggled but they still didn't suck any worse than IU did against better teams.
