Stars aren't the be all end all, but I guarantee you that the All-American rate for 5*s is higher than 4*s and the All-American rate for 4*s is higher than 3*s, etc.

I interpreted at it being directly related to the IU 5* guys, not as a whole. Obviously the UK and Duke 5*s have led to a lot of wins and some titles.
