Exactly! It is a complete non story. I'm still trying to figure out how 1 person making a stupid comment about it has turned it into an event where fans are supposedly bitching about it and were talking about it over here?

I have repeatedly said I think that that roster would be very solid, and I think they will get to the sweet sixteen. That is the most hyperbolic thing I have said. Stop trolling.
Just based off of pure talent, it wouldn't be that far off imo. The team probably wouldn't be as good as the 2000 (I think that's the year you all won it) simply because they were seniors, but just on talent alone...itd be close.
You went through a team you guys think was Izzo's best team ever and insisted the other team would be better, thus implying it would be Izzo's shiny new best team ever.

I could see someone disagreeing with me on the bench, but I think that bench would be better. That’s probably the hottest take I said, and that’s not crazy.

They have the potential to be very good, but obviously it also could not work out that way. I thought that was pretty obvious because not even all the pieces have fallen into place yet.

MSU fans were hyped last off-season, but you have to attribute some of that to the media. 14/27 ESPN analysts had MSU winning the national title. So yeah, we obviously weren’t that as good as they thought.

Also, UM finished 5th in the Big Ten. Obviously had tournament success, but my prediction for where they finished wasn’t far off.
So do you see how watching MSU fans talking about how elite they will be THIS time gets an eye roll? Like, sure, it could happen, but one would think you guys would tone it down a bit after three straight years of not reaching the Sweet 16.
