Do you think Allen wants more of a game manager?

Like Klize said he just wants a guy who won’t turn it over. Indiana doesn’t want or need a Lagow. They have faith in the other guys but Dawkins hasn’t been here long enough of have the best of arms, and Penix is still to fresh, yet he can still play and redshirt so that’s nice.

Makes sense

Over.

Also, love the gymnastics happening itt.
My opinion has nothing to do with charges or no charges.
If I, as a head coach, saw that video of Payne, I would have sat both those boys.
A game, two... maybe a week. Be discrete if necessary.

Vick "probably" kicked a woman and sat two games, Self labeled it an "illness" yet wouldn't comment further on it at that time.
Vick denied it, no criminal charges, but Bill sat him before an investigation had even began, much less been completed.

Payne admitted, on tape, that the woman was prob not in a position to give consent, yet homie still went at it.. Izzo saw the tape (?), yet neither missed a game(?).

"No crime was committed"
Does every crime catch a charge?

Education, it's painfully clear more ppl need it.
Yeah, that's all fine and good. But did Bill Self wear a lapel ribbon for the victim? That is the true measure of a man.

I smell a complete and total house cleaning coming. Wallace Loh needs to GTFO

Does anyone here not hear that they have an elite strength and conditioning Coach?

I feel like every school says that.

Pretty much. IUs has a solid reputation with several star NFL players. Better then the previous clown under Crean

I think IU is extremely happy with Cliff Marshall. Recruits certainly mention him constantly...

"Coach Clif Marshall enters his ninth year as the Performance Director at Ignition where he is responsible for the design and implementation of both the strength and speed programs. Marshall works as a Fitness Ambassador for the NFL. With 15 years of professional experience, Marshall has trained more than 400 pro football players, including first round NFL draft picks, Super Bowl Champions and Pro Bowlers. Luke Kuechly, AJ Green, Geno Atkins and Devin McCourty have been some of Marshall's most notable clients over the years. Under Marshall's Direction Ignition has trained over 40+ NFL Combine Top Performers and a number of NFL Players who hold all time combine records for their position groups. Currently Ignition and Coach Marshall have at least one player that they have trained on all 32 NFL Clubs."

Most high major schools really do have elite guys though, always cracks me up when some schools think their guy is above and beyond the others.

Pretty much this. S and C isn't rocket science. If you run a P5 program, you're probably on the same plane as the other guys.

These programs are being handed elite athletes with the majority having had no real training in the field.

Ayo Dosunmu added 7 inches to his vert since USA basketball. It doesn't make our SC guy a God, but it is an easy thing to sell to your fans and recruits.

TL;DR: your strength and conditioning Coach is more than likely not any better than his peers.

Hes gone and honestly not that big of a loss

Not that big of a loss? He was your clear number 1 guy and the drop-off between him and the next guy seems pretty legit. Curious why you don’t think it’s a big loss. Your lack of a running game hurt you guys last year and I wonder if the same will ring true this year.

Of his 704 yards 335 of them came from two games against Georgia Southern and Rutgers otherwise he was pretty garbage. He was unproven like the rest of them. Plus from all accounts the guy was a piece of shit off the field. The video of him helping homeless was nothing but a sham coverup

With a hopefully improved offensive line it’s next man up

What do Michigan fans think about Cole Bajema. Saw he took a huge rise in the latest 24/7 rankings
Looks intriquing. 6-7 now and could grow another inch or two. Our guys said Beilein was intriqued more when he started to view him as 2G rather then a wing. His value to Beilein as a ball handler/creator skyrocketed rather then as a typical good-shooting wing who doesnt handle the ball much. He is also a beanpole. Needs another 25-30 pounds. Very very good shooter. He got offer when he dominated in Vegas against top notch competiton.

So potentially a 6-8 or 6-9 2G in Beilein’s system a few years down the road. He could be really good and a “glue” player. I have seen him as a potentially bigger Nic Stauskas but not quite as good a shooter. Nic was one of the greatest shooters I have ever seen coming out of HS. Hope this helps. We are pretty pumped about Bajema. Classic Beilein find.

Wtf are you talking about? Wtf did the BoT have to do with this?
The BoT appointed Engler as interim Pres and he clearly has no intention of making any real change in the culture. They also promoted some guy from within for the new AD instead of a new guy from outside MSU. So many chances to really chart a new diredtion for msu and they just stick with the same old with the same old characters. Look up Joel Ferguson and George Perles. What in the eff would they know about running an academic institution? It goes on and on at Michigan State. I remember my father 25 years ago mention Ferguson and him telling me he was a no-good power player, political hack that was going to help ruin MSU.

Never said he was.

I said he was elite so I’m confident he can get Bajema up to a good weight.

A lot of it is the effort the players put into it. A great strength coach doesnt mean much when the athlete isnt putting the effort in. Elite athletes put elite effort into their practice and their S and C, generally speaking. A lot of good and great SC coaches but some are bettee then others, just like there are hoops or football coaches better then others.

Sanderson’s record and producing high draft picks is there in black and white. Sanderson also appears to be beneficiary of players willing to pay the price in the off season too. It goes both ways. SC coach and player own personal work eithic have to match up to produce anything.

Indiana and MSU Top Ten recruits Isaiah Stewart’s top 6 along with Duke, Washington, Syracuse, and Villanova

Can't just call anyone elite because they coach at Michigan.

But he has trained studs like Mitch McGary the bowler and have you read about how the Michigan Men’s and Women’s golf team has improved wowza.

Just wait until he drops the "he's easily a top 10 S and C coach and if you don't agree, you're crazy". You know its going to happen eventually.

I don’t know anything about any other SandC coaches so hard to rank them. I know we have a damn good one, though. Kudos to your programs if you do too. It helps!

Or multiple coaches can be elite, even the Michigan one.
You don't even know anything about the SC guys at other programs. You have no barometer for who is and isn't elite. This is purely bias.

Edit: and I see you admitted that the post above mine. I rest my case, your honor.

I don't need to know about other programs S&C coaches to know that Michigan's is good at what he does.
