seasons can't get here fast enough. still watching the progress of the North Endzone. the frame for the jumbo tron is in place. the folding chairs are being put into place. the bleachers in the upper deck are just about done.

banned me has he accused me of being a racist, which is not even close. have a number of friends that are African American that would have issues with that. some I grew up with, some I served in the military with, members of my bowling team.

I think you've said some things that aren't kosher multiple times. I don't think you recognize that, but I think you're probably a good person.

before Fran took over in the previous 11 seasons Iowa only had 3 .500 or better BT records with just one NCAAT win
Fran has had 5 straight .500 or better seasons in BT Play with 2 NCAAT wins, in 6 seasons.
this years team will have the most 4* top 100 players with a couple outside someones top 100. at one time on it since Davis and Lute. even then there were the magazines that listed their top 40-100 and 250 players.

You confuse using a common reference as being obsessed with something. There have been many times when I observe a situation that I refer it to the Three Stooges. e.g When I watched Iowa play last year I would say - This is like watching “The Theee Stooges go to College “. Another might be referencing Bozo the Clown or Ronald McDonald. None of those live in my head. Snu is a cartoon character not a heavy hitter. A lot of the trolls here get confused on the diffrrence.

1st season 4-14 coming off 3 straight years of Iowa avg'ing 5 wins in the BT 2nd season 8-10
3rd season 9-9
4th season 9-9
5th season 12-6
6th season 12-6
7th season with 4 FR starters and SR Jok as their leader 10-8
8th season 4-14 no seniors and all the injuries with multiple players playing out of position.

because I was within 1 win or loss of the final record. as for Fran's shitty BT record, Fran is just 1 of 2 BT Coaches to have 5 straight .500 or better records the other was Izzo of MSU. NOT Painter, not Beilein not Turg's but Fran and Izzo.
Beilein swept Fran in his 1st season and he had to wait till the 17-18 season to do it again, from 2013 the last season that he beat Fran he never won a game. 14-15, 15-16 and 16-17, shocking isn't it, Fran also has a winning record vs Painter of Purdue.
Fran is 67-75 against B1G teams in his 8 years at Iowa. Congrats on some streak that means nothing
good enough for 3rd all time for wins in the BT for past Iowa coaches next up is Lute with 91 in 9 seasons. then Dr. Tom with 125 in 13 seasons and he was run off for not winning enough, 1 Elite 8 finish, 2 Sweet 16 finishes the las the year he was run off and a 9-0 record in 1st round NCAAT games. losing to 7 teams that went on to win the championships.
He was being interviewed after the round and was asked about a couple of shots from others golfers

Steve handled it with class and told him his check was in the mail after the interview was over
not really SA was the coach for 8 years, Lute was the coach for 9 years and Dr. Tom was the coach for 13 years. Fran has been here for 8 seasons. its not like the coaches have been around long enough to have more wins.
Lute coached when the BT had 18 games, Dr. Tom 18 games until the last 2 when they played 16, SA 1st few years a 16 game schedule then it went back to 18 games,
SA only had 3 .500 or better BT seasons in BT play in 8 seasons, yet Fran has had 5 .500 or better with 2 NCAAT wins to SA's 1 win in NCAAT play.
