Triggered the Purdue fans. If you lose Brohm, that's bad for you. There's no sugar coating it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I really don’t think MSU is a top ten team this year, and I don’t think we win the conference. I’d love for them to prove me wrong but like, our wings are McQuaid and Langford, who could be good but have yet to prove anything. PG and Center are good, but outside of that, there are a lot of questions.

I don’t think a team starting Matt McQuaid and Kenny Goins in the Big Ten will win the conference.

Our bench is basically freshman, which could end up being good for us, but if say Gabe Brown and Aaron Henry suck year one, we are in a terrible spot on the wings.

Xavier Tillman is probably the third best player on the team except you can’t start Ward and him together in the modern game, but if you give him to many minutes Ward will bitch about not getting enough, so he will be in a bit of a limited role.

On paper I see us in the 3-6 range. I’d take UM’s, Indiana’s, and Maryland’s roster ahead of ours right now. Maybe Nebraska.

D.J Carton seems to be getting closer to an announcement.

IU and Michigan want this thing done before the July evaluation periods that is for sure. If he goes into July, after taking official visits to each school, without choosing one of them its probably time to get nervous. Some other teams Duke mostly are sniffing around.

The plan was to offer today on his visit. I haven't see anything confirmed today. Maybe he is still on the visit.

Edit: Yes they did
Saw that. We’ve been hearing good things about Purdue’s chances and I think he’d be a good fit with our personnel.

Very pleased with the Gillis pickup. Would love to add Newman too.

Yeah I am not sure how much the Indiana offer "changes" things. Phinisee and Anderson were a bit more obvious on what an Indiana offer would do. Not as much as been said regarding Newman.

Even with the ownage of this post is, and it is a bloodbath, I still hope Purdue never fires Painter. Just saying.

Archie begins his NCAA Tournament run this coming season.

I gave up in season 2 just not a fantasy dragons guy. Great Nudity though. I am sure Mr Skin loves it. I’ll probably try to pick it up again when the final season hype gets closer

It's far, far more than fantasy and dragons. The acting, scenery, plot, character archs, politics, period, etc. are all so damn good.

I didn't watch Game of Thrones for years because I thought it would be something nerdy. I had to stop watching Merlin for that reason. It was way too corny. Game of Thrones, not so much. The fantasy aspects of it (Dragons, Army of the Dead) are done damn well.

But I get that it's still not for everyone.

I'm actually surprised when people get through Season 1 and don't want to keep going. My wife and I started it as a show together with episode 1. She went to bed and by the time she woke up I was on episode 7. I ended up watching all 5 seasons in 6 weeks.

I get it when people don't feel like giving it a shot. There are shows I'm sure are good that I haven't watched. That and Game of Thrones does sound nerdy. Watching the first season and not wanting to watch on seems so odd to me because of how hooked I got lol.

Completely random but watching Breaking Bad and damn that season 4 finale is just absolutely fantastic. Season 5 has also started off on fire.

I’ve always wanted to get into that show but when I see each episode is an hour I’m like ehh. Haha.

I’m jealous if you’re watching for first time. Great show. Check out The Wire sometime if you haven’t already. Another good one.

Just recently had someone try to tell me that they liked Breaking Bad for the first three seasons, but that things got boring in season four. I think I had a mini stroke from the rage blackout I had from hearing that.

Feel the same way about GoT.
Every time I start my annual rewatch of the series, I'm dumbfounded by just how much plot advancement happens in the first hour of that series. Just bonkers.

This times eleventy billion. Best show of all-time, IMO. You should check out Jonathan Abrams' oral history of the series if you haven't already.

Ironically, there's a pretty vocal segment of book readers who feel like B&W have steered away from the fantasy elements too much in the series. As someone who hasn't yet read the books, I'm pretty indifferent, but would expect them to ratchet that up in the final season.

Lol I mean that just isn’t possible. It was possibly the best season of TV I have ever seen
