***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

The ACC and PAC 12 both have 5 teams with better win percentages that Indiana.
Ok? Neither one of those conference's are anywhere close to the Big 10. Not sure why some are so hell bent on this. Its not like IU fans are going out on a limb. IF, IF the NCAA was today, IU is in. That's not an opinion---Its a fact. So not so sure what the deal is?

An Indiana fan talked shit about the Howard hire, talked shit about Howard in the off-season, and talked shit about Howard in-season and you don't see any reason for me to ask that Indiana fan what his thoughts on Howard are after Michigan beats Indiana by 21 in their first matchup?

Does your wife know you have a random Indiana fan on your mind for months?

Huh? You think some message board idiots, "get to me"? Dude----I think its funny.

But, "get to me"? Dude.

This board for me is relaxing.

As for Gil? That dudes a ****ing idiot.

Ah yes, NC state with losses to Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech (twice by the way), Memphis and North Carolina. Solid resume.

USC has the opposite problem. They’ve beaten LSU, but that win looks a lot less strong these days, and no one else.
Edit: USC also has that problematic 32 point loss to Washington.

I think Arizona State should be considered more safe than IU

Ok? Why do you get so bent out of shape? Do you take things this personal? I mean, its year one. He's done a solid job. Good for him. Good for you. I mean, I guess you got those dudes good today(IU fans). UM beat an inconsistent, terrible road team in IU, at home. Not sure that's worth beating your chest over---But hey, thats just me. Like I said, possibly a different story if the games @ IU---Maybe?

I was making a joke because some people think resumes are all about wins and not strength of schedule.

I mean, I literally asked him a 3 word question. It could have been not much more than that and here you are blowing it out of proportion because you're salty about the loss. Move along.

I am one of those, "some people". Win. Its that simple. Don't feel like getting into this, though. SOS is important. Plays a role. Not as much though when playing in the Big 10 this year. IU's last 10 conference games was deemed the 2nd toughest in the nation. It's irrelevant. IU gets to 19----I feel good. 20? They are in.

In other words----Just win. Do that, rest takes care of itself.

You're proving the point me and Purdue fans were making yesterday. NCAA resumes aren't just about number of wins/losses. My post was tongue in cheek.

Salty? Dude I never expected this to be a win. So why would I be salty? I just see it as odd that you are always seemingly seeking approval.

Well if winning is all that matters there are Pac 12 and ACC teams that wouldn't make the tournament with better win percentages than Indiana.

I asked an Indiana fan who had a lot of negative opinions on Howard what his opinion on Howard was after Michigan finally played Indiana. It didn't need to involve you. The only reason I can come up with for you making my question such a big deal is that you're salty.

Yeah. Because winning percentage's are usually apples to apples. Winning isn't all that matters. But it cures alot of issues. Look at Purdue. 14 wins....Still considered in. BUT...how much you think that changes if they dont,ummm---Win?

Fair enough.

Good game today.

Thanks. That's about as well as Michigan has played this year. Not really much you can do on the road against a team playing their A game.

Ignore my win % comments. They are directed toward someone who keeps saying # of wins is more important than overall resumes.

Winning % is not apples to apples.

And that's why overall resume is more important than just number of wins.

Ummm, nope. Its just the same with you. You feel the need to seek people out. You need approval. Great game today.Played well. Shot well. Best of luck. Hope Livers is good.

Michigan up to 14 on Kenpom with ~10 games without livers cooked into the equation. Top 10 team with Livers.

He was. He regressed a lot this year. How would I know that would happen?

Don’t make me go pull up Purdue quotes.

And wtf does that have to do with what you quoted?
You’re a big past quote guy these days despite having a laughably bad defensive center that you loved. The “best roster” losing Livers didn’t impact White Dikembe’s ability to defend.

And hell, if you think the coaching change impacts him maybe don’t get all psyched for beating up on Archie, who’s yet to make a tournament.

We all make dumb statements, some of us are less autistic about it than others.

What does any of this have to do with my response to noah? This is really out of left field.

And I’ve already conceded that Teske has regressed a lot this year multiple times over the past month.

And what does Livers have to do with it? Lol I’m confused at what’s going on right now. Day drinking?

The Consistency Lover is mad about resurfacing bad takes after pulling the “rest the starters” post out of his ass in response to “it’ll be a good game”.

I'm telling him to have Maryland rest their starters because hopefully they have the conference locked up and Michigan doesn't take a probable L.

That's what made you bring up how much Teske has sucked?

I still don't get what Teske has to do with what I said to @Noahtogo24, but I've "re-surfaced" how shitty Teske has been as much as anybody.

January 9th
Teske is getting his shit pushed in by everyone we play

January 12th
Jon Teske went from being one of the best defensive bigs in the country to giving up a bucket every possession. It’s mind blowing.

A lot of people > Teske.

January 18th
Yes Garza is way better than Teske. He’s better than anyone on Michigan’s team.

February 4th
Teske: 3 points, 6 rebs, 1 assist
Wesson: 23 points, 12 rebs, 3 assists

We might not end up missing Teske as much is I thought we would. What a bad conference season he’s having.

February 8th
Jon Teske 0 for 2 with zero points and 0 rebounds in maybe his final game vs MSU.

Coming off a 1 for 7 for 3 points game vs Ohio St.

February 12th
Davis looking better than Teske

Today
I’m really not sure where Teske would rank in Michigan’s top players right now. Losing him isn’t going to hurt nearly as much as I thought it would.

You act like I'm having a hard time admitting Teske has went from damn good to frickin Austin Davis level. That's not the case.

But why did what I say to Noah get us into this convo?

You two should kiss and make up.

Insult Iowa. You’ll feel better.

It's just really out of nowhere. Purdue has came of short of expectations every bit as much as Michigan has and I haven't shit on them once. Then my comment about wanting to play Maryland's B-team gets him to bring up the Teske discussion that's already been conceded?
