***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

Minny has a good game Saturday, too. I think the B10 wins all three of those games.

Sunday Illinois vs Arizona. @Jaycg15 - How you feeling about this one?
Not that great after how sloppy we looked the other night. Arizona looked crisp in their win. We play Grand Canyon at Grand Canyon tonight, so that may be a better indicator for this game.

Don’t bitch out now @proudopete! Don’t try and move the goal posts either. It’s simply an avatar bet. You man enough to walk the walk? Or are you all talk? I think I know which one it is...

Always deflecting aren’t you?

I guess I was right then since you can’t prove I’m wrong. Enjoy your another season on the brink.

@proudopete - You’re wrong. You’re welcome.

I think it would be kind of a joke to not have him be eligible, just like Micah Potter. People are getting granted eligibility for absolutely no reason. I’m not saying it’s right, but if you’re going to grant eligibility for no reason, at least do it for everyone, not just randomly.

except potter already sat a year. Hauser played all of last year. Potter not being eligible is the biggest joke of the year.

how many plan on watching the Iowa game and what are going to looking for in the game the most?

Trash the NCAA all you want but this is a rule that should be in place.
this times a 1000, once coaches start paying in anyway for a player to move, you will see families being moved from poor homes to 250,000 homes at the minimum that or Condo's.

no thank you.

ahh yes the everybody does it claim as if that is the only excuse people use to justify someone getting caught.

is that what Indiana's FB and BB coaches are doing to get highly rated recruits? sending out their bagmen?

You think a 16 year old kid made the decision to have Penny pay for his family to move?

I think once Penny paid for his family to move the year before he goes to play college basketball the kid should think about how that could affect his eligibility. “Thanks for helping my parents relocate but I can’t play basketball for you.”

Simple.

Riiiiiiiight and I am sure you were that mature at that age...no kid is.

There should be no recruiting rules because recruits aren’t mature enough to understand consequences.

Great logic.

Shocker you only read what you want...what part about penalizing the coach do you not understand?

Michigan will be in this same situation soon, so get used to it. I am sure you will want the player to play.

If Michigan lands a recruit by paying players I would expect those players to be ineligible to play for Michigan and understandably so.

Wiseman shouldn’t have chosen to play for the coach that paid his family if he was worried about having to sit out. It’s really that simple.

It may not be the best rule, but it’s a rule none the less. Wiseman shouldn’t have done it and should pay for breaking that rule. Sucks, but rules are rules. I’m all for changing the rules, too, if they aren’t proper.
