Actually, I think he's Poulter's godfather and was Billie Jean King's husband before she realized she didn't like men.I think he was in the same class as one of the 3.

And then some idiot said losing Sasha wouldn’t have much of an impact. Some of the takes on KC are just so bad.So continuing the injury conversation, someone on the home board said they saw Sasha Stefanovic in a boot earlier today.
I think his NBA role is a poor man's Jalen Brunson. Absolute killers in college, but guys that need to be steady, floor spacing PGs that primarily defer to stars in the NBA.I think he’s someone you could roll out on your bench and feel comfortable with him running the offense when out there, but not a great defender. He’s a crafty finisher and has a good shot. He could make a living as a bench player for a while.

Was thinking the same thing. Almost a sort of fashion accessory. Lol.Pretty sure Indiana's entire team has a boot sponsorship.
I have a feeling that the population of Illinois fans that come out of the woodwork to post here may rise this season. I can't moderate them. I'm sorry.
That said, @Illinois0, most of these guys are pretty fun to get along with and will have reasonable conversations as long as you aren't throwing fanboy talk at them constantly. Also, go ahead and do yourself a favor and put JohnHoosier on ignore.
i been around here for a decade though so I think I get a pass from the woodwork fans
Weren’t you the one who made that awful prediction about Purdue relative to Illinois a few years ago?
And Indiana. Their future under Groce looked better.

Iowa looked really good for a bunch of 3 star players.got to put in a word on Iowa 1st game on Friday
here is what I going to be watching for
can they or will they play as a team
or will there be a lone wolf and do it all by himself
Iowa will have the height advantage now will they take advantage of that
Fredrick went 4-4 from 3 and 6-7 scoring 18 points, will he be as relaxed or will he tense up once the lights come on for real.
how much playing time will Jordan get,
its not the scoring as its more about TO's as they committed just 7 even with all the substitutions and ending the last 7-9 minutes with 3 walk ons,

3*'s by who here is the breakdown of Iowa's 4*'sIowa looked really good for a bunch of 3 star players.
Sasha out with an injured foot. Nojel should play.
sounds like Newman and Gillis will take the shirt. Pretty surprising stuff for a team that doesn’t have a ton of proven guys.
Unclear on Sasha. I have to imagine that if Newman is redshirting, it can’t be that bad. But that’s pure speculation. That is very surprising and really good news for the future depth of Purdue. More surprised with Newman than Gillis.
How serious for Sasha?
Newman really surprises me. I'm very pleased with Armann's maturity and ability so far. I was a guy who leaned Newman but happy to have AF now. At least right now this moment in time...Sasha out with an injured foot. Nojel should play.

Sasha and Wheeler redshirted and they seem to both be hitting a decent stride as RS Sophs. They both played pretty well last year as RS Frosh as well. I don’t think it means Newman isn’t ready. He just has too much experience and depth in front of him.Newman really surprises me. I'm very pleased with Armann's maturity and ability so far. This. Its not his points, shooting, assists, etc, etc...Its HOW he plays. Has the demeanor of a junior. Doesn't try and do things he's not capable of. He's pretty good at what he can do. Just solid. Very happy with how he looked.Newman really surprises me. I'm very pleased with Armann's maturity and ability so far. I was a guy who leaned Newman but happy to have AF now. Good post. Why waste a year, playing a kid of his talent(and he is talented), spot minutes? Let him practice, learn the system, w/o the frustration of only playing 2-3 minutes. If something goes wrong---take away the RS. IMO, a good move by Painter.Sasha and Wheeler redshirted and they seem to both be hitting a decent stride as RS Sophs. I’m shocked that he’s far enough behind our other guys that he’s redshirting. Apparently those guys have developed well.Newman really surprises me. then don't state such BS about a teams players, or in your case don't be such a ass.Wow! I had no clue. Are you new around here? You should post more often. So much useful information.

But a class of Morton Ivey Newman Gillis isn’t bad.
Solid D and sloppy O. Too many TOs.Purdue starting like MD did last night...
the post entry stuff is an early concern. as is nojel and sasha's health.Solid D and sloppy O. Too many TOs.
Yep, missed a lot of open shots, but OK with that as long they are generating good looks. However, the TOs on the post entry are unacceptable.the post entry stuff is an early concern. as is nojel and sasha's health.
like the way hunter is playing.
It's not particularly surprising it's an issue. We struggled with this with Hammons/Biggie/Haas a bit as well until we got old. We gotta figure something out there though, we're not even really getting good passing lanes to the post in general.Yep, missed a lot of open shots, but OK with that as long they are generating good looks.
