Combined 4- and 5-star players. Purdue doesn't have any 5-stars according to Rivals* in this class, to be clear.
*Huge fan of 247Sports rankings in this very specific situation.
Brohm is a good coach, Purdue did/still does have a really good recruiting class, and if I talked down to other programs, it might have been specifically to IU if that. The way you mentioned it, you made it seem like I was thinking Purdue would be in a NYD bowl which isn't close to accurate.
It wasn’t just to IU it was to Illinois and others as well. It was basically like Penn State talking smack to Rutgers in basketball. A mediocre at best program talking smack to a known historically bad program as said program doesn’t know they’re bad. It’s comical and deserves to be made fun of.

The Rivals Midwest guy is a former mod on The Wolverine and often gets ridiculed on homeboard for being so far off on his evaluations.

Nebraska is a weird team. Starting five is clearly talented enough for a solid at-large spot, but depth will likely be a concern all year.
Not a fan of their offensive gameplan. Run a 2 man game on one side while the other 3 players just stand on the weak side not doing anything. Have settled for a lot of bad shots in the half-court. Think they’ll be really dangerous in transition all year though.
Im having PTSD flashbacks from the Melo Trimble era. Everybody stand around and when the clock gets to 5 seconds Melo will chuck up a shot or drive to the basket and try to get fouled.

Isaac Copeland's decision-making leaves quite a bit to be desired.
The Bo Ryan speciality but somehow it always worked for Wisconsin. Every single year.
