One thing about Painter is that he’s still pretty young. Guys like Bo and Bielein were well over 60 before breaking through in the NCAAT. Of course he could end up like Keady, which would thrill many here.

Question for you gamers...
I got out of the gaming world around 2012...I have a little bit of extra cash and a birthday coming up. I saw the Playstation Classic is only 39.99, but the games are kin of shitty on it. I did some research and it looks like it is pretty easy to jailbreak it. Does anyone have any experience? I'd be down to play some Tony Hawk 1-2 in a heartbeat.
Also does anyone have any experience with a Raspberry Pi? That looks pretty awesome and easy to do and I can get games for every old school console.
I get the itch to play some games all from time to time and my wifes SEGA's sound went out.
Thoughts?

I’d figure it might be easier to simply buy an old refurbished Ps2/Ps1 at a local game shop and buy the games you want.
Might help if MSU didn't have so much rape, molesting and beastiality occurring on their campus in recent years. I mean look at the news reports and court cases. Just is easy pickings for sports posters who like to stir up crap other then talking sports.
I thought about that, but the thought of having everything on a hard drive or flash drive sounds a hell of a lot better than keeping around a cd holder.
Dont quote me on this but arent all their old ps1, 2 and 3 games available for digital download on the ps4 through PlayStation Now.
Immediately I can’t really help you, but new gen has to be coming out in the next couple of years so you could pick up a cheap ps4 then.

I'm completely dumbfounded on how its even possible that the coaches in the BIG don't consider Morgan one of the top 15 players in the BIG? I think they were also wrong on Romeo not getting POY, but that one I can definitely understand.....especially with how different each teams paths were in league play. But, there's no excuse for JM not to be in the top 15.
1st. You can't blame a single person for expecting Purdue to finish in the bottom half. Hell, I got attacked my first day here for questioning why some Purdue fans on the home board were expecting top 4 finish. I was told multiple time that pretty much everyone here thought at best it would be middle of the pack. A few Purdue fans thought 4th or 3rd place was possible if everything broke their way.
2nd. I'd still take Phinisee over Eastern.
3rd. I still think IU is more athletic than Purdue. Unfortunately, that doesn't make a team and Purdue was better in the areas that are important to a winning team.
I guess you ignored where I said I understand that one? Seriously, I don't understand what enjoyment you get out of these types of posts? You read the post, so its impossible you didn't see that sentence. But yet once again, you act like it's not there...
The reason I feel Romeo should have won it are...
1st. I'm sure being a homer has some influence ,so I'm not going to act like it doesn't.
2nd. I believe Romeo had the highest expectations of an incoming freshman of anyone since maybe Bailey? This wasn't just from iu fans, it also included a lot if the national media.
3rd. He has a slight lead in pretty much the majority of quantity type stats. Iggy definitely had the lead in efficiency type stats.
4th. It basically was just him and Morgan defenses had to focus on. At Michigan, you all had more offensive options so defenses could just focus on stopping 1 or 2 players.
With that said, as I mentioned in my original post...the part that you ignored...I can definitely understand why someone would have voted for him over Romeo.
They’re completely different type of players so they aren’t even really comparable really. That being said, Eastern had better conference numbers across the board in comparison to Phinissee albeit he’s a sophomore compared to a freshman. Phinissee is a good defender for his size but I’d still take Eastern on defense due to his size to go along with his ability. But yeah I think iu would still take Phinissee over Eastern due to the fact that he’s at least a threat from deep even if his percentages suck this season.
Maybe they struggled to see how these three things could all be true at the same time:
- IU deserved having two players on the All Big Ten team and those two players played every game
- IU finished 9th in the Big Ten and lost 12 of 13 at one stretch
- Archie is a good coach
PS I personally would have been more apt to put Morgan on the team than Romeo.
They are completely different players. Rob is a PG, Nojel is playing PG, there's a difference. Nojel is basically a super poor mans Romeo that brings the ball up the court and can play defense. Doesn't have a shot, can get to the rim, gives Purdue another rebounder, and plays defense. He's a starting guard playing 29min/g and he's 0-4 from 3. I know thats not what he's there for and Carson and Cline make up for it but he plays PG because he doesn't fit anywhere else. Rob is an actual PG, can shot, can still defend, he runs our offense. Much much better player.
I totally understand Nassar and the bogus Espn sexual assault article in which Paula Lavigne included everything and anything no matter how iffy the reporting. I get it how low life scum use a child molester to rip on MSU.
What does that have to do with a basketball game? What does that have to do with the Big Ten regular season championship race?
