This has been going on for years. Has anyone ever been seriously hurt?IMO it's dangerous and needs to stop before someone gets seriously injured. The team whose fans rush the court should forfeit. That would stop it.
i think it's rare, but it has happens and whether it happens a lot or not, there is the possibility. People also take small kids to games who could be trampled by a crowd of drunk students and fans. There was a report last year that an Arizona high school kid suffered a stroke because of court storming, although I'm not sure how that could cause a stroke or how they could prove thats what it was from. This has been going on for years. I still think, let them go.i think it's rare, but it has happens and whether it happens a lot or not, there is the possibility. Also found this. It says 75 hospitalized and several in critical condition.
Just feelings. This has been going on for years. Has anyone ever been seriously hurt?
I'll bet you remember that for the rest of your life. This rule seems like a ban on fun.
Junior year at Carolina.I'll bet you remember that for the rest of your life. This rule seems like a ban on fun.
Maybe not, but it is still silly.I've been told that when fans resuh the court or the field, the fines in the SEC go directly to the school tht just lost. I'm sure Tennessee does mind taking an extra $500,000 for a loss versus $0 for a loss.
This sums it up. Used to be special and should be special but when you do it all the time it isn't. Also these stupid students rush just to rush and record it for social media.I think it was cool for special occasions. But it just got so ridiculous watching the 30th best team beat the 7th best team and the fans rush the court. I remember when unc beat a Duke team for their 11th loss of the season and their fans rushed the court. But yeah, the fine is ridiculous. The punishment shouldn't be monetary, the home team should have to forfeit the win.
I think rushing the court is corny now and they shouldn't be fined but it's happening too often. I also don't buy the "getting hurt." Clemson does it every game and rarely does anything happen. But other programs have idiots students and get in players faces now. That's more of a culture thing imo and honestly the player shouldn't have to deal with that as they have everything to lose in that situation
The old white lady posse was ready to whip some ass.
I remember his childhood babysitter had to run on the court and save himY'all remember last year when Filipowski pulled his twat during a court storming?
In 2012 when IU hit that last second shot to beat UK they rushed the floor and one of our players was still on the floor. Could’ve been bad if another UK teammate didn’t pull him up real fast. This has been going on for years. Has anyone ever been seriously hurt?
Let them go until one of your players gets hurt from it or gets into a scuffle with a fan that cost him a game or two and then you won’t think “let them go”.I still think, let them go.
I think is just making rules to ban fun.In 2012 when IU hit that last second shot to beat UK they rushed the floor and one of our players was still on the floor. Could’ve been bad if another UK teammate didn’t pull him up real fast.

I get smaller schools rushing the floor if they beat a blue blood or a highly ranked team but for instance, Ole Miss rushing the floor against Tennessee is embarrassing for them and our league.
I’m not saying I don’t like it because I do but I also get why they don’t want fans doing it.I think is just making rules to ban fun.
I think this is just another step in sissifying America in the name of safety.I’m not saying I don’t like it because I do but I also get why they don’t want fans doing it.
