Best 3-6 team in football! Lol but that was a good win and it was much needed. Plummer left on a stretcher though and it looked bad. Might be down to our walk-on QB to finish out the year.
I caught a couple plays and saw that one. Hell of a scramble but didn’t see what he did. It didn’t look bad, but I didn’t see the replay.

His ankle got caught underneath and Brohm said in the postgame he’s assuming he’s out for the season. Granted it’s only 3 more games but yikes. Our QB room is now a walk-on starter and a freshman who is redshirting. That’s it.

Whoa. I wouldn’t have guessed it was that bad. Must have broke a bone or something?

Rather it be broken bone than ligament damage of course. Prob know more in a few days. One thing that people may have overlooked is that O’Connell got plenty of snaps last week when Brohm benched Plummer. Was pretty handy today that he already had some game experience under his belt.

He’s done for the year. Down to a walk-on. No idea what happens if O’Connell gets hurt.

I’d be happy with 38% plus as a team.
True. I mean, I guess to expect those three to double--or a tad more, their attempts---with Carsen and Cline gone, isn't that crazy. But it kind of is. Eastern and Willams took like 7 combined three's(last year). Just seems a bit of a stretch?

BTW---I didn't say above 35%. I said---"35%".He said @ 35%. Which to me implies at least that.
Unless Eastern morphs quite a bit I’d hope he do other kinds of scoring but I’d bet Haarms and Boudreaux will combine for quite a few- attempts. 75 seems high and I’d rather others take the lions share.

38%? You guys didn’t average that as a team last year with arguably two better shooters than what you’ve got on this team.

its better to hope for the team avg to be around 35%, now with the 3 point line moved back that will eliminate the borderline 3 point shooter,

Penix to the locker room again? Jesus
Hearing broken collarbone. Out of for the season. He's an elite talent for sure. But so injury prone. But IU has a competent back-up that would start for a lot teams.
